Before Mai knew it, she was being dragged down the hall, no idea as to where the destination was. Although, she should have known. The house was still pitch black, she had to commend Hibari for knowing his way around even in the dark. They entered a room, she wasn't completely sure what one it was until the familiar and stronger scent could be detected.

"Kyoya?" She muttered, wondering why they were in his room all of a sudden. It was still the middle of the day, and there was nothing much in here. But she was pulled forward suddenly. Already tripping over her feet, the back of her legs hit the side of his bed and she fell back onto it; originally in a sitting position, she was soon pushed back with Hibari hovering over her.

"I'm not good at holding back, it's getting more difficult every time I see you, and yet you still want me to?" Definitely referring to when she stopped him from going any further every single other time. -She's sorry...

Now, she knew what this situation was, she was not 100% okay with it. -Seeing as his eyes were glowing in a rather desirous way. Not another sound escaped her lips as they were seized by his, immediately a burst of lust filtered through, mixed with passion and obvious love. She couldn't breathe. Perhaps it was a good kind, if there was one.

His hand travelled under her shirt, she shivered under the cold touch of his fingers against her stomach.

Her reactions, her sounds, he wanted to feel and hear them all. She just wanted him to be happy, maintaining her own happiness at the same time; she wasn't against him touching her. In reality, she loved the feeling, the indescribable feeling.

So she just let him do as he pleased.

He deserved that much.

He also deserved being completely shut out by her for the next few hours. He should have known; she was the most timid person he knew - he didn't know many people though.

Mai was wrapped up in his blankets, curled up on his bed facing the wall. Hibari was sat just against the bed frame, reading a book.

It's been said before, but he loves Mai's reactions to most of what he says.

"You're not coming out?" He destroyed the comfortable silence; Mai tried to preserve it by not saying a word and pretending to sleep, but, "I know you're awake."

"I'm not..." Her small voice replied quickly, her body grew further tensed, Hibari could only chuckle. "It's embarrassing." She added in an inaudible whisper.

Hibari slammed his book shut, successfully scaring the life out of Mai and stirring Hibird awake. The little bird flew off his head and went to it's birdcage. He stood up and put his book away, prolonging Mai's anxiousness while waiting for something to happen, that definitely would happen. Therefore she was on edge, yet also confused about whether he was just going to walk out or not.

He didn't, obviously.

He leaned over her cocooned state and rested his head over where hers probably was, "If you don't get up, I'll use force." She twitched when she heard his deep voice whisper into the quilt, and stiffened after hearing the words spoken.

Was there an option C?

Resigning to her fate, she slowly lowered the blanket enough that her eyes were looking out from underneath; it was hard to tell, but she was a colour redder than red under there. Her eyes looked everywhere but into his, that were as sharp and beautiful as usual.

"...What?" She asked after five minutes of just staring at each other, once she caught his eyes, she couldn't look away.

He sighed, "I'm hungry."

Of course. What else would it be? Something important?

She was going to say 'Then make something.', but the little glare he sent her way, the look in his eye that said 'I know what you're thinking, do you want to be bitten to death?', it steered her away from that option.

"T-Then, would you get off of me?" She requested, having to wait another five minutes for him to move. She sat up and was about to leave the comfort of the blankets when she realised something... she was wearing his shirt. Just his shirt.

Underwear too, of course. Somewhere during the recharge session, her shirt was thrown on the floor and skirt tossed aside. That was what ended the short 'touchy time'. He chucked a shirt at her and that was it.

"U-Um..." She spoke up, gaining his attention once again, though it was a little more irked this time, he'd just gotten to the door when he was stopped, "C...Clothes?" A little realisation crossed his eyes momentarily before he took a step back in the room.

"It's fine, isn't it?" He answered disinterestedly, but she shook her head furiously, he had no other options, "Then get dressed."

She would if a certain person would leave. Alas, he showed no signs of doing so.

So she scurried around, hauling the blankets around with her. And with some effort, she dressed herself with a dress-like top and white shorts. The little comment of 'I've seen it all before.', did not help in any way either. It wasn't a suitable outfit choice, basically every single mark he'd made earlier was visible; it was traumatising, truly.

Lunchtime, and she was not putting any effort into it - chazuke with a side of grilled fish! As unimpressed as Hibari was, he still ate it.

She'd given him his watch earlier, after she was taken from Tsuna's house. -But, she only saw him put it on after he'd eaten. The checkerface man could spy through them after all... she would rather he didn't watch their 'private life'. Thankfully, Hibari felt the same way.

It was somewhat tense, waiting for the battle time to start, she already knew the others were out preparing -Hibari, not so much. He was probably going to take his time to show up. She had to wonder why he wasn't adamant about being on the suicidal front line team...

Crowding.

That explains it.

So when the battle watch did go off, he told her to go to the other girls' and stay out of trouble, like she would try to get into trouble anyway.

Mai wasn't just going to blindly go along with that, since she could've just stayed and waited at his house. So she argued a little bit - she lost in the end, obviously. Besides, she'd end up going to the hospital wouldn't she? There'd be no way he'd, or anyone else, would come out unscathed.

"Fine..." She gave in, not actually minding the idea, just made up crappy excuses not to follow it, "I'll be waiting then."

He turned and left without another word, letting Mai get escorted away by Kusakabe, who showed up out of nowhere.

Many prayers for his health later, she arrived at Haru's.
