first period ended up being boring. the same went for second, third, fourth, and fifth period. i knew most of the content being said, which was good, but i had to stand and share about myself. as a girl who would rather jump off a cliff than public speak, it was difficult. first period was the worst one.
"hi," i stuttered out. "my name is betty. i'm from all over really. i'm excited to graduate." with that, i sat down and looked at the desk in front of me while the teacher awkwardly tried to move on to the class content.
they all expected me to say more. i never did.
and his gaze. i felt it wherever i went. it didn't help we had much of the same classes.
i know how to be a ghost. i've done it so many times with other schools and other people.
but i never stopped to consider: what about those who can see ghosts?
