i walked home after you said words that tore through me and shut the door in my face.
i was left in the rain and the few drops on my head quickly turned to more and more drops it was cold, i knew i'd get sick but i didn't mind
by the time i got home my clothes were wet and clung onto my skin my hair was damp and my arms crossed against my chest i shivered, needing your arms around me
i got inside and peeled the clothes off and waited for the shower to heat up which didn't take long and i stood there while the water burned against my bare skin
when i stepped out i saw the mirror all fogged up i got dressed and looked outside
it was still raining and to my surprise you were standing outside
