"Hey Matt." I said as he came towards my locker.

He gave me a nod. "I see Naomi leaves you alone nowadays." He watched with me as Naomi passed us by with chatter about Luke. I rolled my eyes.

"Thank God." I sighed. "I feel bad for Luke whenever he's on her radar. It's one thing when she is trying to destroy her. It's another when she wants you and clings to you like a lost puppy."

Matt laughed a bit. He seemed sober. I felt really bad, this would've been easier if he wasn't. Matt's an... okay guy. "Matt?"

"Mmm?" He said absentmindedly.

"You've been hanging around us a lot lately..." I started.

He turned to face me. "Is that a problem?"

"No." I answered. "Um... Actually, yeah it is." He stared at me, lost like the puppy. "It's just that the guys and I don't need-" He backed me into the wall.

For a couple seconds it was an intense staredown. Then I realized his eyes. They yelled "I'VE BEEN DRINKING." Those couple seconds of the staredown were ended when he forcefully put his llps to mine. He used his hand to tilt my head up. My eyes were wide up. I tried to break. After more than one try, he let me go.

Maybe he isn't completely sober. I thought. "O-Okay then. I'll, I'll just be off n-now." I said. I ran away. While running, I fell into someone. "God, I'm...I'm s-sorry." I stuttered. I was a little shaken if you didn't catch that.

"Hey, it's okay. What's the rush?" the guy said, as I picked up my books. The voice made me look up.

"No rush, trying to go somewhere. How's it going, Luke?" I said straightening up. He handed me a book.

"Pretty good, actually." He said.

"That's good." I replied,  looking behind me.

"Um," He started. "Are you sure you're alright? You're a little shaken."

I just nodded. "Well, gotta go. See you around."

I ran off to the band room. I faced my friends who were all getting ready to practice. "That is the last time I tell Matt to do something." I huffed. They just bursted out laughing.
