Luke's POV

I opened the door for us all and let only Alice pass in front of me. The place was always decorated nicely with fake grape vines and cream and vintage walls everywhere. Katarina took us to our seats and took our appetizers and all, but I couldn't help but notice at how Alice's face changed as soon as we pulled in the parking lot. She's been on her verge all day today, I could tell. Everything irritated her for a few seconds, and then it would be something else. And her questions were coming on, too. I'd have to tell her sooner or later. The fans saw me in the mall today, some even approached me in the fitting room as I waited for Alice, and I luckily took quick pictures with them. I know I have to tell her, but I can't. Not yet.

For some reason, Alice reminded me of Eeyore from Whinnie the Pooh, but somehow she was a bit like all of the characters put together. She had so many sides to her, but I guess you could say that she was mainly blank. It drew me to her. Even if I had no clue why. I watched her look down at her hands in her lap. If only she knew I'd lied when I agreed to it being the first and last time I spoiled her. All I knew, is that she was mine. One thing she didn't understand, was that that's what she is. She's everything she swears she's not. I planned on letting her kno-

"Luke." I heard. I looked up and saw her and James looking at me.

"The food has been here for 15 minutes and you've not once moved." Alice spoke. I looked around and saw the garlic pizza and the calamari on the table. "Sorry."

"It's okay, why are you apologizing? Just hurry before everything's gone." She giggled. I grabbed a handful and a slice, munching away until Kat came back and took our official orders.

Something felt off. I looked around and checked everything. Even our seating. Daniel, Me, Alice, Jai, James, Beau. No, wait. There was tension. But what was going on?

Katarina and Valentina, whom I found out is Alice's cousin, placed our orders down. Everything looked amazing.

"Vale, oh my God come here." Alice said, them both now standing an embracing, almost in tears.

"I haven't seen you in 4 and a half years, where have you been?!" Valentina exclaimed.

"Eh, mingling." Alice giggled.

"I can see, look at what the cat dragged in." Vale said, mentioning us.

"Now now, don't talk. You're first boyfriend was in fifth grade wasn't it?"

"Forget that, yours was kindergarten, and then a new one every year!" they giggled.

"Well, just so you know, I'm not dating any of them." Alice smiled, causing my body to tense, even if it was true.

"Good. More for me." she said, Valentina and James now blushing at each other hardcore.

"Alright, I'll talk to you after you guys eat, okay?"

"Ok, pa." Alice said, leaning over and kissing her on the cheek.

James nudged her. "I want her number." he whispered. Alice couldn't help but laugh. I picked up my fork and ate my pasta and fish.

-

"Beau, stoppp." Alice half moaned half giggled. Something came over me, and suddenly I felt aggressive. My hand trailed over to Alice's thigh. She put her hand over mine and I squeezed. She finished her last bite of lobster ravioli and pushed her plate out of the way, now leaning on her elbows and facing me. Her eyes looked heavy, but not the tired heavy. The dramatical 'hard-to-get' heavy.

"God oh so help me, if you make another move I will take you right here right now on this table." I whispered. She leaned in close.

"Well then you're gonna have to chain yourself down to the table, because I'm going to the girl's room." she whispered back.
