Running as fast as she could into the cold nights of Chicago, she notices a car that has been on her tail since she left her house. Lauren halts from running and decides to sit on the sidewalk to cry herself back to her composure. The last thing she needed was to pass out and wake up in the emergency room, if she even makes it that far.

Unbeknowst to her was that Dinah and Normani had enough with being kept in the dark - What they wanted was answers so the two best friends decided to stake out at Lauren's home, arriving just in time as they found the raven-haired girl running out. Knowing better, they trailed right behind, wondering how Lauren missed the sound of a vehicle trailing not too far behind.

Dinah alights her vehicle running to their crying friend, knowing that Lauren crying means trouble. The raven-haired girl was always composed and firm, not once have they ever seen Lauren cry herself like this since they've met back in high school.

Normani runs to her best friend with a jacket on her hands, wrapping them ever so tightly at the sobbing girl on the road.

"What happened, Laur?" Normani worriedly asks, not sure if she was ready for what she was about to hear.

"W-what are you doing h-here? How did you even find me?" Lauren asks through sobs.

"We were outside your house, Lauren. We followed you home cause we feared of this." Normani says truthfully.

"Damn it Ralph! I knew you were athletic but you ran too damn fast for the car. You really are a jaguar,  huh?" Dinah jokes as she attempted to lighten up the mood, but decides to drop it when she notices that it was doing anything but that.

"C-camz...g-guy...bedroom." Lauren cries even harder as she clutched onto Normani's waist for support. Seeing it with her own eyes was definitely something, but having to vocalize it and really understand what was happening was much harder than she thought.

"WHAT?" Dinah fires back in shock that her best friend would have done that. To everyone, Camila was the embodiment of a gentle, goofy wife. When the two found out that Lauren and Camila were hitting a rough patch, this was much farther than what they even began to imagine.

Normani gives Dinah the glare signaling her to stop asking. They were going to get answers, but figured tonight was just not the time.

"We got you babe. You're okay here." Normani sweetly caresses Lauren's back with her soothing touches and her fingers running through Lauren's messy hair.

After escorting the green-eyed girl back to Dinah's car after much persuation, Lauren found herself being put in the back seat by the other two girls. Being completely out of it, Lauren just decided to shut down and stare blankly into the night.

"What do we do?" Dinah asks curiously, quite lost as to what else they could do. With the little they know, they found theirselves sitting in the car, trying to figure out what to do next with Lauren. Taking her home was not an option if she ran away, right?

"The only thing we can do. Bring her home. Jacob for sure would be looking for her." Normani says truthfully, all out of options but the most obvious one.

"It's so funny how Jacob isn't even genetically Lauren's, but still cares for him like she was the one who put him in Camila." Normani mumbles under her breath, but still loud enough for Dinah to hear. The silence was defeaning, much more than they wanted to admit.

"Let's be real here. Lauren loves anything Camila. Exactly why she's breaking down like this." Dinah says honestly, as if the brunette that was in question wasn't her best friend. The drive back to Camila and Lauren's house was quick, finding Sofi in the front porch seated, staring blankly at the dark.
