A Kiss

Nikko smiled when he saw Tsunade. "You're alive!" he said, "That means you can take back over as Hokage!"

"What?" Tsunade asked, "Who was Hokage in my absence?"

"I was," Nikko said, "Oh, by the way. We're going to war."

Tsunade sat up abruptly. "What?" she yelled, "What did you do?"

"Relax," Nikko said, "It's through no fault of my own. The other four Kage agree with me."

"What?" Tsunade asked, more quietly.

"The Five Kage have formed an alliance to battle Madara Uchiha," Nikko said, "So, that's your mess now. Enjoy. I now name you Hokage again."

Nikko turned and left. He walked to the graveyard, stopping before Ukimora's grave. He then knelt down and placed a rose on the grave. "I've come so far," he said, "I wish you could see me, Uki. I've sure grown up since we last talked. Anyway, I came here to tell you something important. I've moved on. There's someone else I love as much as I loved you."

"Who might that be?" Yakama asked.

Nikko rose to his feet. "You," he said before softly planting a kiss on her lips.
