Sixth's Death

Hanime had protected Nikko and Yakama with his Shield of Nourishment. He sighed in relief and released the snake hand sign. The shield disappeared.

Yakama fell to her knees. "Such destruction," she said, "How could he?"

Nikko grit his teeth and rushed toward the reassembling Madara. Now's my chance. The boy drove a black receiver into Madara's chest.

Madara gasped and reached for the rod. His hand stopped short when Nikko began to emit chakra. "Gotcha," said Nikko.

Madara grit his teeth. "It seems you have," he said.

Mu swung for Nikko and drove the boy back. He then pulled the rod from Madara's chest. Madara, now free, rushed forward. He threw a kunai at Nikko.

Hanime stepped forward and caught the kunai. The duo rushed forward.

Madara ducked under Nikko's fist and sidestepped Hanime's Mutilating Rasengan. He swung for Nikko, but the boy teleported to one of the many marked kunai he'd scattered throughout the battlefield.

"Tobirama's jutsu," Madara said, "You're just full of surprises, boy."

Nikko rushed back into the fray. He jumped over Hanime and swung a marked kunai at Madara.

Hanime stepped forward, skin turning the ebony of a raven's feather. He swung a blood sword for Madara.

Madara simply jumped over the blade and caught Nikko's wrist, knocking the kunai from his grasp. Nikko teleported to the kunai and caught it, rasengan in one hand. He jabbed the rasengan toward Madara. Hanime crumpled to the ground as Madara tilted his head to the side to avoid the attack. The Rasengan missed Hanime by a hair's breadth.

It was then that Yakama made her move. She rose up the spire, paper wings sprouted from her back. She surrounded the whole spire in paper shuriken before launching them all, three dozen in total, at Madara.

Madara smiled and dodged the shuriken. However, when they exploded, Hanime and Nikko were thrown back. Madara was blown to bits.

As Madara was reforming, Hanime wove the hand signs for his sealing jutsu. Mu struck first. He kicked Hanime in the side, sending the boy tumbling off the rock spire.

Yakama flew down and caught Hanime. Nikko, distracted by his concern for his friends, received a punch to the side of the head.

The young Otsutsuki stumbled to the side a few steps before recovering. He whirled around, bringing a kunai with him. The boy threw himself to the side when Madara stabbed for him.

Madara's Susanoo began to form, but stopped halfway through.

Hanime climbed onto the spire, eyes glowing blood-red. "Behold the dojutsu of Jashin Otsutsuki," he said, "The Kerryugan!"

Nikko smiled and rushed forward. Madara sidestepped Nikko's attack and kicked for the boy. The young Otsutsuki tried to form his Susanoo. He scowled when it didn't work. "What did you do, Hanime?"

"The Kerryugan is a dojutsu with a unique ability," Hanime said, "This dōjutsu grants the wielder many abilities that include penetrating vision, disruption of other dōjutsu, and unique healing through life-force energy manipulation."

"You've disrupted my Sharingan, huh?" Madara asked, "Who are you two?"

"I am Nikko Otsutsuki of the Akatsuki," said Nikko.

"And I am Hanime Otsutsuki of the Akatsuki," said Hanime.

Madara threw himself forward. He swung for Hanime. Nikko stepped forward and blocked the sword.

Hanime bit the tip off of his index finger. He pointed his finger at Madara. "Blood Style: Gunshot Technique."

A drop of blood shot from Hanime's finger. It moved too fast for Madara to dodge. It tore through his head.

Nikko smirked and drove a black receiver into Madara's chest. He then threw a rod at Mu. The former Tsuchikage dodged the rod and Hanime worked on sealing Madara.

Madara rolle to the side when Hanime's jutsu started to take form. The Uchiha jumped to his feet and ripped the rod from his chest.

Nikko grit his teeth when Madara shoved the rod through his chest. "Damn," he said, "I lost."

Nikko went limp.
