Battle of Brothers

Nikko stood on the Bridge of Iron, Sasuke standing before him. "So you want to kill me, do you?" Nikko asked.

Sasuke remained silent.

"Very well then," Nikko clapped his hands together, "Summoning Jutsu!"

Hanime's corpse appeared beside Nikko. In it were two black receivers, one in each earlobe. Nikko pierced his own ears with black receivers and tensed up. "Let's go, Sasuke."

Sasuke rushed forward. He swung his sword for Nikko. Hanime rushed forward and blocked the blade with a black rod. Nikko stepped forward and shoved a black rod toward Sasuke.

Sasuke's susanoo blocked the rod. Nikko's eyes widened. "So you've unlocked the Susanoo, have you?" Nikko asked.

Nikko and Hanime jumped back. The boys rushed forward and got to wither side of Sasuke. They each held a palm toward Sasuke. "Almighty Push!" they both said.

Nikko smiled as Sasuke's Susanoo cracked. "Again, Almighty Push!"

Sasuke swung for Nikko. Nikko jumped over the hand and threw a few dozen marked kunai around the bridge. Nikko teleported from kunai to kunai, not giving Sasuke a chance to hit him.

Nikko appeared beside Hanime. They both rushed forward. Sasuke's Susanoo stopped the first black rod.

Sasuke looked to Nikko. "Amaterasu!"

Nikko held a hand up and absorbed the jutsu. "Ninjutsu won't work on me," he said, "and I can push you back before you can get close enough to us taijutsu. Your only hope is genjutsu and we both know you can't cast a genjutsu to save your life."

"You defend the Leaf, but do you know about Itachi?" Sasuke asked.

"Yes," said Nikko, "I know everything about him. Madara told me three years ago. I wanted one of us to kill him because only an Uchiha would be worthy of such a feat."

The young Otsutsuki rushed forward when Sasuke fell to his knees and clutched his eyes. He pulled out a black rod and drove it toward Sasuke.

Sasuke blocked the rod, but was thrown off the bridge by Nikko's Almighty Push. The Uchiha summoned a hawk.

Nikko clapped his hands together and summoned the drill-beaked bird and the chameleon. Nikko and Hanime jumped into the chameleon's mouth and the beast went invisible.

Nikko smiled as the drill-beaked bird drove its beak toward Sasuke's hawk. Sasuke's hawk dodged the bird and Sasuke fired a Dragon FLame Jutsu at the bird.

The bird dodged the jutsu, but Sasuke tried again. The bird dodged twice more before Sasuke decided to use Chidori on the bird. The bird vanished in a puff of smoke.

Sasuke landed on the opposite end of the bridge as Nikko. The white-haired Otsutsuki clapped his hands together and the rhino appeared. The beast charged Sasuke. Sasuke's hawk slammed into the rhino's side. Both animals vanished in a puff of smoke.

Nikko narrowed his eyes and clapped his hands together. He summoned the multi-headed dog. Then, he sat down and began to gather nature energy.

Without wasting a second, Tobi pulled the dog into the Kamui. So Madara won't let me use that one, huh? Nikko thought.

The boy entered Sage Mode and dismissed the chameleon, marked kunai in hand. He and Hanime rushed forward. Nikko rushed forward.

Sasuke blocked Nikko's swing and dodged the black rod from Hanime. He rushed forward and kicked for Nikko.

"Almighty Push," said Hanime.

Sasuke was pushed back, but recovered quickly. He threw his sword at Nikko.

Nikko caught the blade and rushed Sasuke. The boy swung for Sasuke. Sasuke caught Nikko's wrist. Nikko kicked for Sasuke's head. Sasuke caught Nikko's ankle.

Hanime rushed forward and stabbed a black rod toward Sasuke. Sasuke's Susanoo blocked the rod. Nikko teleported away and sighed.

"You're pretty good, Sasuke," he said, "but now you die. Hachiman!"

Sasuke and his Susanoo were enveloped in black chakra. They imploded and Nikko turned to Hanime with a sigh. "We did it."

"What was that about me not being able to cast a genjutsu to save my life?" Sasuke asked from the other end of the bridge. Stormclouds had formed above them and Sasuke held a chidori in one hand. "Now, with the thunderclap. Kirin!" He guided the lightning toward Nikko.

Nikko, in the split second before the lightning struck, activated his susanoo. The chakra beast took the blow. Nikko deactivated his susanoo and sighed. "I stand corrected," he said, "That was a wonderful genjutsu." He rushed forward.

Sasuke sidestepped the rod only to find Hanime waiting with a rasengan. He kicked off of Hanime, sending Hanime back. Nikko caught Hanime and threw him back at Sasuke, only to follow him into the battle.

Sasuke decided to quit pushing his luck and jumped back. Yakama took shape behind him and launched paper shuriken at Sasuke. Sasuke whirled around and swung a kunai at her.

The girl peeled apart and reformed at Nikko's side. "I came back," she said, "You have inherited Nagato's dream, so I will stay with you."

"I understand," Nikko said, "but stay out of this. This is for Sasuke andI to settle. Nobody else."

The boy teleported himself to Sasuke's back. Sasuke kicked Nikko away and took his sword back. Nikko furrowed his brow. "Almighty Push!" Sasuke hit the ground, unconscious. Hanime held a black rod to Sasuke's throat.

"Now, you die," Hanime said.

"Enough, Nikko," Hagoromo said, "Leave Sasuke to Naruto."

Nikko turned to Hagoromo. "Are you sure?" he asked, "I could kill him now and form an alliance with the Raikage. That would take us one step closer to peace."

"I'm sure," Hagoromo said.

"Very well then," Nikko said, "Madara, come take your eyes."

Tobi landed beside Sasuke and pulled the boy into the Kamui. "This was entertaining," Tobi said before vanishing into the Kamui.
