We had found a bigger truck, and Warren was loving it. I wasn't even in the same car and I could tell. She was enjoying running over Z's. I was still in the back of our original truck with that boy that's my age.
I stood up when I felt us slowing down and pulling over. Both trucks were on the side of the road now. Warren and Garnett got out.
"Well, that was fun." I commented.
"Out of gas." Warren laughed.
"Running on fumes." Addy lifted her hand and Warren high fived her.
Doc got out too. I saw the smoke at the tire and hopped out as well. Warren checked it out.
"Alright. It looks like you got a flat." Warren told him. Doc ran and got something from the back. He came back with a lug wrench and a jack.
"I'll do it." I offered. Doc handed the lug wrench to me and set up the jack for me ,lifting the truck so I could remove the tire.
"Heads up. We have company." Mack warned us. We looked to see motorcycles going. The passed us with only a look in our direction. I watched as the motorcycles left view.
"I miss my bike." I stated.
"Let's just get this done and go." Warren told me. I nodded.
I put the end that fit on one of the lug nuts of the tire. I took off the lug nuts ,all of them obviously. Then started to pull the tire off.
"It doesn't look flat." Warren tried to help me take it off.
"But it won't turn." I said.
"Well we ran over some fun stuff." Doc said.
"Okay. Well, let's get this off and see what's going on." Warren said. Warren and I pulled it off. There was a zombie in there.
"Well, that explains the pull to the left." Doc said. I laughed lightly.
"What are you waiting for? Kill it! Kill it!" Murphy yelled.
Warren held the lug wrench as a weapon. "Alright, you. It's time to go home." She piked it and dropped the tool.
Her and Garnett looked out to the city. New York City. Eh. I never was the type for this city. I dreaded trips here. Too many people. Too much chaos ,that's coming from me.
"Even after all this, it's still beautiful." Warren said.
"Take a good look. We might not be back for a while." Garnett told us.
"So long New York." Addy said ,holding her little video recorder.
"See ya in the next life." Murphy said ,not very sensitively, before turning and walking away.
"Good riddance." I said ,following after Murphy,

I walked with Doc as we looked through cars for supplies. We came to a mall where there were a lot of cars hoping to find gas. We didn't find any. The boy that's about my age is with Doc and I ,he's still checking for gas.
"So what's your name kid?" Doc asked.
"Ten thousand." He answers. I laughed lightly.
"That's not a name. That's a number." Doc pointed out.
"It's my name. Made it up myself." 'Ten thousand' countered.
"Well I suppose you'd have to. Does it mean anything?" Doc asked.
"How many zombies I'm gonna kill." 10K answered.
"Well, that's a whole lot of zombies." Doc commented.
