"Stop! Please just stop!" I exclaimed. We all stopped. 10K was instantly by my side checking me over ,to make sure I was okay. Warren walked to us too.

"Are you okay?" Warren asked me.

"I just can't run anymore." I told her. We'd been running for God knows how long. My lungs burned and I was gasping for air. My feet hurt. And my legs felt ready to give out.

"She really shouldn't be pushing this hard. We still don't know what was wrong with her." Doc advised. Warren nodded in agreement.

"So this really the boarder?" 10K asked as he looked over at the wall, taking attention off me, which I was thankful for.

"About 2,000 miles of it. No way around." Vasquez told him.

"Yeah, and no way over." Addy added on.

"No way back." 10K said, glancing over at me.

"Here comes the goon squad." Doc commented.

"Ammo?" Warren called out.

"About half a clip." Vasquez was the first to answer.

"Three." Addy answered.

"Four and three in my pocket." 10K said.

"I got a couple shells and a clip for my handgun." I said, still trying to catch my breath.

"Don't look at me." Doc said as his answer.

"One." Warren told us. She put her gun away. "Save your ammo." Warren went to Murphy.

Murphy still isn't doing too good after getting shot. It didn't get this bad unless we did a lot of running or something. Because of all the running we did, he wasn't looking too hot.

"Murphy. Hey, get up!" Warren got him to his feet. "Hey! If your the zombie messiah, now is the time for a miracle."

"You gotta try ,man." Doc told him.

Murphy stood on his own. He put his hands up and stepped forward. He looked like he was trying. Then he fell and the zombies seemed to move quicker.

Then there was an explosion. It was followed by another. We all heard people speaking Spanish. People climbed down the wall with ropes.

A hatch opened by us. Escorpion stuck his head out of the hatch.

"Down here!" He called to us.

"You said it was time for a miracle." Doc reminded Warren ,who looked hesitant.

"Hey, do you wanna die?!" Escorpion called.

"Come on ,Warren." I told her ,going to the hatch. I didn't really want to trust these strangers, but we needed away from the zombies coming at us.

10K passed me and went down. Once down, he helped me on my way down. If he had it his way, I wouldn't even have to climb a ladder right now, but he knew a ladder is better than what's out there. 10K has been a bit protective since what happened at the hotel.

I was getting really worried when the pain got worse after we left the hotel, but after some more rest, everything got better. The baby was still active and kicking the crap out of me from the inside. Doc was keeping an eye for any symptoms returning. So far we were in the clear.

"Are you alright?" He asked me.

"I'm fine." I told him ,finally having my breath back.

We were down in a tunnel now. We heard guns cock and then lights turned on. Escorpion and two other zeros were pointing guns at us. Warren and everyone else pointed there guns back. 10K stepped in front of me.
