"Northern Light, come in." Warren said into a radio phone ,trying to get ahold of Citizen Z.
"I don't know what you want with that old piece of junk. Nobody to call." Homer said.
"We got somebody that might pick up." Warren told him. Then she went back to the radio phone. "Northern Light, come in."
Homer stopped at the fence. We stopped with him since he was leading us through this. He was starting at a zombie.
"Something wrong, Homer?" Cassandra asked.
"I knew her, that's all. Her son was one of Max's buddies. Did you ever go back to the house you grew up in only to see it's falling apart and in a bad neighborhood? That's what this feels like. Times 10." Homer told us.
"Well where I grew up ,the zombie apocalypse only improved things." I commented ,thinking back to my house. It was on the bad side of town ,the part of town where most of the druggies lived. Then people wondered why I turned out as bad as I did.
"Alright, back to business." Homer said snapping me out of my thoughts. "From here on the area's hot, right? You got two clean rad suits in there. One for me and I need somebody back me up." Homer looked over at 10K. 10K stepped forward ,ready to volunteer.
"No. I'll go." Warren volunteered.
"Well you can't go. Who's gonna get him to California if something goes wrong? Don't look at me?" Doc said.
"Okay. Alright." Warren agreed. "Just remember, you have ammo now. But not an infinite supply."
"Let's do this." 10K said.

"So what now? Plan B or is it C? Give me a D, E, F-"
"Hey, hey, hey, hey. Not helpful." Warren cut Murphy off.
The SCRAM failed. Homer said there was something physically blocking it so it had to be done manually. They used a drone called Robbie. They lost it though ,the Zs got it.
"Alright. Robbie failed. But I can still do a manual SCRAM." Homer said.
"How? That place is filled with Zs." 10K reminded him.
"We'll go in heavier. Take us along this time." Doc suggested.
"We probably only got one more shot at a SCRAM. But we'll need heavier suits to reach the control room." Homer told us.
"Where do we find them?" 10K asked.
"In the lab, not far from where we lost Robbie. Four can go in, two in these suits. Me and the kid in the heavies." Homer said.
"Okay, but what happens if plan C doesn't work and we wind up with our very own Fukushima Chernobyl whatever?" Murphy asked.
"You mean what happens to you?" Cassandra asked.
"Hey, I didn't ask for the job of saving the human race." Murphy snapped.
"Amelia. Would you be willing to fly him out of the radiation zone?" Warren asked her.
"To be honest, I don't have enough fuel. I lied to my dad or else he never would have let me stay behind." Amelia admitted.
"Oh, great." Murphy muttered ,sitting him down. I rolled my eyes at him.
"If I had a few gallons, I might be able to get myself and one other person outside the blast zone if we are lucky." Amelia told Warren.
"Okay, a buddy and I once converted a Dodge Dart to run on alcohol. A light plane engine isn't that different. You had a serious supply of vodka." Warren directed the last sentence to Homer
