"Flashlight. No batteries. Half a bottle of aspirin. Well, I got no ammo." Doc stated, pulling stuff out of his bag as we looked for everything we have. We are out of almost everything. Doc lifted his crowbar. "Found this."
"Well, I got two batteries and four bullets." Warren placed her stuff on the hood.
"I have two in my gun, two randoms, and those." Addy placed two bullets and two pieces of gun on the hood.
"You got gum?" Warren questioned.
"For repair purposes only." Addy sent a pointed look towards Doc and me.
"Remember fresh breath?" Doc put an arm around Addy.
"Couple of bullets. Road flares." Vasquez presented his stuff.
"I got one empty clip." 10K stated.
"You know what? See if these fit." Addy handed him her random bullets.
"Chris, what about you?" Warren asked as 10K tried.
"Um.." I trailed off, pulling stuff out of my bag. "My prenatals, but I might need to get rid of them. They might be too old. Extra clothes, that's useless right now. Ooh, have a case of shotgun shells. And a battery."
"I know this looks shaky, but we will find a way to get Murphy to California." Warren tried to assure us as we removed our stuff from the center.
"Well, I'm hungry." Doc announced. He stepped back to talk to Murphy. "Hey, sleeping beauty."
"Are you gonna be alright without prenatals? I mean, they seemed to be working decent, even being old. But I don't really know anything." 10K rambled a little after we stepped away from the others.
"It'll be okay. I'll be okay. Doc says everything seems to be going well." I reminded him.
"He also said he didn't know much about this." 10K countered. I sighed.

"Well?" Addy asked Vasquez, as he was checking how much gas we have.
"Two gallons. Maybe three." Vasquez informed.
"Well, if we get 10 miles a gallon..." Warren trailed off, looking over to 10K and I who were by the map.
"It'll get us halfway to Plainview." 10K stated, still looking down at the map.
"Hey, where's Murphy?" Warren asked Doc as he walked up to the car.
"He's right behind me." Doc looked back to see the blue man gone. "Damn it, Murphy! Well, he was just behind me."
"Damn it. Let's go find him." Warren got out of the car.
All of us went into the woods to look for the man. It seems like we're always looking for Murphy nowadays. It's kind of frustrating. I just want to sit down and not have to worry about wandering around in a forest looking for some 'savior of the human race'.
"I'm gonna be really pissed if my last words are 'Murphy, where are you?'" Addy commented as we walked down a dirt road.
"We may as well be saying 'here we are, zombies, come and get us.'" Doc agreed.
"Murphy better hope he ain't around when I reach 9,999." 10K stated. I slipped my hand into his to help sooth him a bit.
"Easy, kid. We gotta find him first." Vasquez reminded him.
"Well, I think it's around here somewhere. Oh, and don't eat the bark off them skinny trees. Starts out tangy then goes south in a hurry." Doc warned. He pointed somewhere down the road. "Oh, maybe it was over there."
