"Do you ever think about Youngji and the other student we left behind in the classroom?" Somi suddenly asked me. I was too focused on the book I was reading and got caught off guard by her question.

A certain red head popped into my head when I heard the name Youngji and I gasped unintentionally. I had completely forgotten about her and the other guy over the course of events that happened in the past months. I was going through so much trauma, trying to survive this new chaotic world that the thought of our two classmates was pushed to the back of my mind.

I looked up to see her eyebrows furrowed with worry. When I stayed quite, not giving her an answer she decided to speak up again. "I think about them and my family all the time. Even though I'm in contact with my family, I still worry they'd get attacked or disappear one day. Do you know when you and class president left, Taehyung tried to leave as well. He said he wanted to meet his family who live all the way in Daegu but we stopped him"

She watched me play with the pencil in my hand whilst I listened. "Jungkook changed a lot as well. I don't know what happened but he suddenly stopped talking about other girls and began paying a lot more attention to me. Yoongi and Jimin started dating, you missed out on the celebra-"

BOOM!

A loud explosion sound cut Somi off. I jumped from my comfortable position on the couch and looked at Somi who had a shocked expression written all over her face.

"What was that?!" We both spoke at the same time, shocking us further.

Before any of us could answer each other's questions, the lights went out, leaving us in the dark both literally and mentally. I put down the book in my hand and stood up, feeling my protective instinct kick in instantly.

"...Sora?" Somi's voice came from my side as she reached out to feel where I was. "Where are yo- there you are!" She latched onto my arm, clinging onto it like her life depended on it. I rolled my eyes then asked her to get a flashlight. She got her phone and turned the flashlight app on.

I took the phone from her and held it in front of me as I started to walk towards the kitchen where my pistol and knife lay. "What are we going to do?" Somi asked but I stayed silent not quite knowing the answer myself. "Where are we going?" She asked as I lead us to the main door.

The house was empty because all the boys were gone out to get supplies and food since we were running out. There was a single car in the driveway so I knew what we had to do if they didn't come back. I used Somi's phone to call the first contact on her contact list.

"Why are you calling Jungkook?" She asked as I put the phone on speaker and waited for someone to pick up. Again I decided not to answer because she'd understand herself once I talk to them. The phone made a long beeping sound before a woman's voice spoke up saying that the person wasn't available. I grumbled in annoyance then called the other guys. None of them picked up and I started to get worried.

I made Somi let go of me and grabbed a proper flashlight from the kitchen and went upstairs. I looked out of the window to see the whole city was dark, no lights were on anywhere, not even the streetlights. The worst part was that it was late at night and the boys had left before the sun went down.

I was looking for any walkers near the mansion on the street when Somi called my name. Her loud footsteps echoed through the mansion as she ran up to me. "What is it?" I finally decided to speak, a hint of panic in my voice.

"The electric fence around the mansion has turned off. I can literally hear the walkers clawing on the fence, it's not going to hold for long" She explained in a hurry. I gave her an exasperated look, my mind trying to figure things out.
