David let out a slow sigh, watching the thick cloud of smoke rise from his lips and dissipate near the ceiling and he smiled to himself as he leaned back into his chair a bit further. He stretched and groaned in relief when his stiff joints popped. It felt like he hadn't been up from his spot in days and the calming high was the perfect release.
He grabbed his laptop and made his way to the living room, plopping down onto the couch and turning on the TV watching as he was drawn into the world of Tom and Jerry. Laughing dazedly as the cartoon exploited the slapstick to it's finest.
"This is where it is," he sighed contentedly through a mouth of cereal. He looked around and chuckled at the gooey colors and odd shapes and craziness that was happening all around as he gorged himself on food that seemed to appear out of thin air all while binge watching old cartoons on Boomerang.
He was about halfway through an episode of classic betty boob before his phone rang and he jumped at the loud noise and he groaned. "Shut the fuck up!" he yelled loudly at the device, but it still rang and he begrudgingly fumbled around with it until it stopped and he sighed before tossing haphazardly onto the floor.
"The fuck? Nogla are you okay?"
David heard a voice and looked around. "Who said that!?" he looked around, still seeing wavy lines and colors and still feeling the need to fill his mouth with more food. "Nogla it's me, are you okay man?"
"Who is me? Who is me you? Foo you me?" He jumbled before plopping back down onto the couch again.
"Nogal!" Jonathan shouted from the other end of the line.
"Shut the fuck up, I'm high!"
