"Class, today we have a new student!" Mrs. Jones said cheerily. "Come on sweetie, no need to be afraid." a small boy came out from behind her "H-hello," he said shyly. "Tell them you name sweetie." the Boy looked at her and nodded "M-my na-name is J-Jon-athan." he stuttered out glancing up at the room a chorus of 'hello' from the other students. Diamond eyes meet dark Earth and he quickly looked back down. Mrs. Jones grabbed her roster "Well, Jonathan. There is a seat right between Evan and Luke over there. Why don't you go sit down." Jonathan nodded without looking up and started walking to his seat, sitting down someone almost immediately shoved a hand in his direction. "Hey, there I'm Luke! It's nice to meet you." Jonathan didn't know what to do but another voice quickly entered the little triangle "Lukey calm down! Leave the new kid alone." another boy walked up, he had chocolate skin and he was wearing a light blue shirt along with a blue pair of shorts. Punching his shoulder lightly "You'll scare him off doing that." he complained to which Luke shook his head "Marcel!" Luke groaned "I'm sorry Jonathan." Jonathan couldn't help but crack an innocent smile. "I-it's okay..." he said shyly still smiling he felt a tap on his shoulder turning to meet the same dark Earth brown eyes. The boy smiled "My name is Evan." Jonathan nodded "Uhuh, Mrs. Jones told me your name. I sit next to you." Jonathan looked up and Evan gasped grabbing his face. "Your eyes. There so pretty!" he said staring in awe. Jonathan felt the heat on his face "T-thank you..." Evan smiled and let go of his face "Hey, wanna be friends?" Jonathan stood there for a second and Evan frowned "Oh, it's okay-" Jonathan quickly spoke again "Wait I'm sorry! It's just. No one has ever asked me to be their friend before." Evan turned facing his again "I don't see why. You're really pretty." Jonathan felt the heat return to his face "T-thanks..." the bell rang and Evan grabbed his hand "What's happening?" Jonathan asked quietly. Evan turned to him smiling "Recess." 

"Evan! Do you know where I put the boxes with my scrapbooks?!" Jonathan yelled from the stairwell waiting for Evan's response. After five minutes of silence, he walked up the stairs to find the books himself walking into the room to see Evan on the bed smiling as he flipped through the scrapbook "What the hell man! I called for you." he pouted and Evan looked at him smiling "I'm sorry I dropped one of them and it opened and I couldn't help myself." Jonathan sighed shaking his head with a smile as he sat down next to him. "Which one is it?" Jonathan asked and Evan smiled "I think this is the one your mom made for you in second grade." he said flipping the page. As Jonathan scanned it a picture caught his eye "No way..." Evan looked at his "What is it?" Jonathan grabbed the book looking at the picture of him and a little asian kid with black hair and earth brown eyes "Look." he said as he pointed Evan let out a gasp "Holy shit..." they both started laughing at themselves "How come we never noticed?" Evan sighed. "More like how did we not notice." he smiled shaking his head and giving his boyfriend a kiss "Who would have guessed that we would've found each other again almost twenty years later." Evan smiled "And who would have guessed that those diamond eyes are still just as pretty almost tewnty years later."
