Chapter 49.

When I woke up the next morning, I felt a lot better than I thought I would. Fine, I was still extremely hurt by the fact that my own father called me a freak, but from this day, I have decided to not let my life get controlled by negative emotions. If I really meant that little to my father that he didn't care if I moved with him to Indonesia or not, then he's not worth my time. I'm going to start spending energy on those who actually cares about me, like Alexander for example. Since the day me met for the first time, I have always been so caught up in my own mind that it feels like I haven't been there for Alexander. What if something have happened to him that he hasn't told me about? When the thought that Alec maybe was hiding something from me, I slowly turned around in bed and saw how he was still fast asleep bedside me. Let me just tell you guys that a sleeping Alexander Lightwood is the most adorable thing I ever have seen. Honestly, it's like watching an angel. Anyways, since my dear boyfriend has done so much for me, I decided that I could make it up to him by cooking a lovely breakfast. I stood up from the bed, got dressed in more than just my boxers and after that, I walked into the kitchen. Since I knew that Alexander loved my pancakes, I started making a dozen and when I finally was done, I walked back to Alec's bedroom and sat down on the bed beside his adorable sleeping body.
- Alexander, it's time to wake up, I whispered and carefully stroke my hand through his hair
- What time is it? He answered with a raspy voice that in my opinion, was hot as freaking fuck
- Almost 10am. You should be happy that you don't have any classes today because otherwise you would be late
- Mhm don't remind me
Alec sat up in the bed, which lead to the fact that I took the opportunity to place a short kiss on his beautiful lips.
- I've made some breakfast for you, I said when the two of us broke the kiss
- What a gentleman, Alec answered and gave me one of his adorable smiles
Both of us stood up from the bed after at least one hundred small kisses that we shared with each other. Alexander got dressed in a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt and after that, we walked together into the kitchen.
- You made pancakes? Oh my god, I love you so much, Alec said and sat down around the dinner table
- I love you too, you dork
I fixed the last couple of things and about 10 minutes later, everything was finally done so I sat down beside Alexander around the dinner table.
- Thank you so much for making breakfast, Magnus. I don't know what I would do without you, Alec said after a while of comforting silence
- You would probably starve, I answered and laughed at my own joke
- Shit, I forgot to ask you how you're feeling today? Are you okay?
- Alexander, I'm fine
- Are you sure? Alec asked and looked at me with a concerned facial expression
- Positive, I said and smiled
- Magnus Bane, you're the strongest person I ever have met. God should feel proud over himself that he created you
- You're such a sweetheart, Alexander. I love you so much, I answered
- I love you too, Alec said and pressed a light kiss to my cheek
Since Alec didn't have any classes today and I was free from both of my jobs, we decided to take a walk in Central Park. Mostly because the weather was beautiful, but also because the feeling of just walking beside the one you lived the most was a wonderful feeling.
- Do you have classes tomorrow? I asked when we sat down beside each other on a bench that was placed in the middle of Central Park
- Unfortunately. What about you? Are you working tomorrow? Alec asked
- Yeah, I have a 5 hours shift down at Pandemonium tomorrow night
- Is Clary working too? Alexander said with a raised eyebrow
- I think so, why? I answered
- It feels nice to know that she can keep an eye on you. Especially since there are a lot of drunk people who would like to tap your pretty ass
- Alexander, I didn't know you were the jealous type, I said and laughed
- There's a lot of things that you don't know about me, Magnus Bane, Alec said and smirked
- You're one of a kind, aren't you?
We sat in the bench for about 20 minutes until we decided that it was time to head back to Alexander's college dorm. When we returned back, the two of us sat down beside each other on the couch. I continued reading a book that I started with yesterday and Alec was watching some TV show that we're playing on a random channel. In times like this, when we're just sitting beside each other, I feel safer than I ever have felt, because I know that no mater what, Alexander won't ever leave me. People can keep hating on our relationship, tell us that we're too young to know what true love is, but that doesn't mean that we care, because we don't. As long as we have each other, nothing else matters.
