Chapter 63.

For the whole day, I have been running around Alexander's dorm, trying to pack down all of my things in boxes. Since Alec is graduating tomorrow, we have to leave the dorm behind us and find a new home, which we don't have at the moment. When I asked Alec about it, he answered that we could stay with his family until we found somewhere else to go, but as you all might be able to guess, that doesn't sound like a very good idea. Especially not after everything that happened between me and Robert Lightwood. I would take a wild guess and say that he probably hates me for saying that my stepfather Raphael killed my real father when it was just a stupid lie to make me even more miserable. Maryse Lightwood is an amazing woman though so that makes up for the screwed up family, or something.
- Have you packed all your things? Alexander asked when he sat down beside me on the couch
- Yeah, it didn't take that long time since I didn't have a lot of things here. What about you? I asked and looked at him
- I'm almost done, Alexander answered
- Are you okay? I said when I could tell that something obviously was wrong
He had this look of sadness and anxiety on his face and honestly, it made me more worried than I would like to admit.
- It feels weird to move and leave this dorm behind. I've lived her for three years after all, Alec answered
- Wow, three years with Sebastian? How did you manage to survive that?
My question made Alec let out a loud thud, which is my opinion, is the most beautiful sound ever made.
- That's a really good question
- I'm happy that I at least got to spend some time with you in this dorm, I said and looked around in the living room
- You have no idea how much I have loved having you here, Alec answered and gave me a quick peek on the cheek
After a while of just romantically cuddling, I helped Alexander pack the last of his stuff. Around 6pm, the whole dorm was cleaned and everything was put into different boxes that Izzy, Jace and Clary would help us with tomorrow after Alexander's graduation. When the two of us felt satisfied with everything, we laid down beside each other on my bed and just looked up at the ceiling.
- Can I ask you something? Alec said after a while of comforting silence
- Anything, I answered
- Do you regret not following your dad back to Indonesia?
- Both yes and no. I would love to go back and meet everyone that I haven't met since I was 1 year old, but I know that I never could leave you behind
- Magnus, I promise that if you ever start missing your dad, I'll bring you to Indonesia myself, Alec said
- Really? I asked with wide eyes
- I would do anything for you, Magnus Bane. You're the best thing that ever happened to me and I love you
- I love you too, I answered and couldn't keep the smile off my face
I carefully placed a light kiss on his lips and felt how he smiled all the way through it. I decided that the body contact between us wasn't enough, so without crushing my dear boyfriend, I placed my body on top of his and continued kissing his lips like something terrible would happen if I stopped.
- Thank you, Alec suddenly said when we broke the kiss for air
- For what? I asked confused
- For showing me that something as fantastic as falling in love with someone actually could happen to me
- I will never stop loving you, Alexander. You're my future, I answered
- It's pretty ironic, isn't it? Alec asked and let out a quiet chuckle
- What?
- The two of us, we're like a puzzle. Both of us had a broken part but when we met, we could out those broken parts together and become whole
- You're such a poetic nerd, I answered and smiled once again
- I gave you everything, Magnus Bane. My love, my heart, my virginity, and I wouldn't want it any other way, Alec said
- Thank you so much
We continued kissing like it was our last kiss. No one of us really wanted to separate our lips from each other's, but we knew that we had to or the both of us would suffocate from the lack of air.
- Thank you for saving me, I whispered
- I would do it everyday for the rest of my life if it meant that I got to call you mine, Alec whispered back
