- Magnus, are you sure about this? My dad asked when we stood beside each other, ready to board the airplane that would take us to Indonesia
- Yeah, I answered
To say that my dad was surprised that I called and said that I wanted to move back home with him, is an understatement, but when I told him everything that had happened between me and Alexander, he understood that I couldn't stay in New York.
- You deserve someone better than that Lightwood boy anyways, dad said and out one of his arms around my shoulders

We were just about to board the airplane when I felt how my phone vibrated from my back pocket. At first I thought it was either Catarina or Dorothea who called to say goodbye or something, but when I saw Alexander's name on the display, it felt like my heart stopped beating.
- Hello? I stuttered when I pressed the phone against my ear
- Magnus, where are you? Please don't tell me that you're on the airplane, Alec answered and I could hear the panic in his beautiful voice
- Not yet, I answered
- Look, I'm sorry. I know that you never would cheat on me, but Magnus, please don't move to Indonesia. I can't lose you
- Alexander, I'm sorry but I have made up my mind. I have quit my jobs and I'm going to move to Indonesia with my dad
- You can't, Alec answered

- Because I love you. Can't you see it? I love you so much and I don't know what I would do without you
- I love you too, but you have to understand my situation. Since the first day we met, I have trusted you with my life, but when I needed you to trust me, you turned your back on me, I said and felt how tears streamed down my cheeks

- Goodbye, I answered and with that last sentence spoken, I hang up the phone
I could feel how my dad looked at me and I really tried to keep every damn tears that was streaming down my face hidden, but it was like I couldn't.
- You really love him, don't you? My dad asked and gave me a painful smile
- I would die for him, I answered
- You should stay with him. When I look at you two, I see a strong couple that can go through everything together. Don't let one mistake mess up everything. I lost your mum because I was stupid and naive, don't make the same mistake
- You're not mad? I asked surprised
- I know that I haven't been there for you for a very long time, but I love you. No matter what happens, you'll always be my son and if you want to stay here with Alec, I support you, my dad answered
- I want to stay, I whispered
- Then stay. Magnus, you're happiness is the only thing that matters to me. Besides, you can always come and visit me in Indonesia
- Of course, I answered
My dad pulled me in for a bone crushing hug and when we let go after what felt like hours, we smiled at each other.
- I love you, Magnus. Now, go and make things right with your boyfriend
- Thank you, I answered
My dad boarded the airplane and when I no longer could see him, I started running in the opposite direction. Now all I had to do was find Alexander and tell him that I love him.
