Chapter 52.

Music was the first thing that I heard when I woke up the next morning. The clock was around 6am and since I had a lot of different classes today, I couldn't stay in bed for as long as I wanted. When I finally got my own body of our bed, I got dressed in a pair of black jeans and sweater. The music came from the kitchen and when I walked through the door, I saw how Magnus swinged his hips to the wonderful sound while he mad what looked like breakfast. Since I never had seen him dance before, at least nothing like this, I tried to make as quiet sounds as possible so he wouldn't hear me and stop with what he was doing. Ever since Magnus got the job as a dancer teacher, he has been a lot happier. He's not thinking about his father or all the shit that has happened to him anymore, which is a lot healthier for him. I won't lie about the fact that Magnus was a little bit sad that he had to quit his job down at the coffee shop, but he would never have been able to keep three jobs going at the same time. Jocelyn understood why he had to quiet and she got happy that he finally could follow his dreams. She also said that he was more than welcome to come back whenever he felt like it. Magnus kept his job at Pandemonium though, claiming that he loved working there, especially since he had friends there, like Clary. At first, I didn't really agree with him because honestly, working down at a nightclub is a lot of stress to deal with at the same time, but I have seen how his face lights up every time his there and I don't want to ruin that for him.
- For how long have you been standing there? Magnus suddenly asked which broke me out of my thoughts
- Not too long, don't worry, I answered and walked over to him
He put his arms around my waste and I took the opportunity and placed a light kiss on his cheek.
- You're very good at dancing, I whispered and felt how I blushed
- You haven't even seen the best part, Magnus whispered back
- Oh yeah?
Magnus let out a loud laugh that in my opinion was the most beautiful sound that I ever have heard.
- When does your first class start anyways? Magnus asked
- Not for another two hours. What about you? When do you have to be at the school? I answered
- Same as you
A slow song came on the radio and when Magnus put his arms around my neck, I couldn't stop smiling.
- Dance with me, Alexander, he said
- I can't dance, I answered but the smile didn't disappear from my lips
- Everyone can dance, my dear
Magnus started to move his hips to the music once again but this time, I was moving with him. My arms found their way around his waists and our foreheads were pressed against each other's.
- I love you so much, I whispered
- I love you too, Magnus whispered back
We stayed like this for what felt like forever until we both realised that the time has passed more than we would like to admit. We ate the food that Magnus had cooked together and thereafter, I kissed Magnus goodbye and left for a whole day of classes. English was the first subject that I had to deal with and when I sat down on my chair in the back of the class, I felt how someone sat down beside me. I turned my head to the left and saw Simon.
- Hi, I said and gave him a quick smile
- I'm officially annoyed
- That was fast
- Oh, not at you. Do you remember that I told you last week that my mother wanted me to come home for the weekend? Simon asked
- I do recall remembering that, yes
- Well, apparently she has kicked my dad out and now she has a new boyfriend
- What? That was fast, I answered
- Yeah, and guess what? I hate him, Simon said and sighed
- Why?
- Because he's a douche bag
- I'm sorry to hear that. See things positive, at least you have Maia, I said and patted him on the back
- You're right. I honestly don't know what I would do without her
English class was pretty boring but it felt nice to know that I had Simon by my side. The day pretty much kept going on like usual and when I finally was done for the day, I walked back to my dorm. Magnus hadn't returned back from his job yet, so I decided to take a hot shower. I walked into the bathroom, undressed myself out of my clothes and after that, I stepped into the shower and turned on the water. About 30 minutes later, I was satisfied with how calm my body felt so I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my waste. Since I had all my clothes in my room, I left the bathroom and walked into my room where I got dressed in a pair of sweatpants and a shirt. Just as I was about to walk back into the bathroom and leave the towel, Magnus walked through the front door with a huge smile on his lips.
- Hey, how was your day at work? I asked and threw the towel on the couch
- It was amazing. Even though the kids are so young, they have so much potential, Magnus answered
- That's because they have an amazing teacher, I said
I pressed my lips against his in a passionate kiss and I could feel how Magnus smiled all the way through it.
- What about you? How was class? Magnus asked when we broke the wonderful kiss for air
- Boring, as usual, but it could have been worse. I mean, at least I have Simon by my side and Maia and I have some classes together too, I answered
- Friends are the best part about college
- You're better, I whispered
- You make me blush, Alexander
We kissed one more time and just like always, it was like I could hear fireworks.
