-The Lab-
Delta's POV:

Chase had been laughing, or squeaking, or...whatever sound he was making for the past fifteen minutes.

It was getting weird.

Zadie continued to scroll on her phone. Without looking up, she asked, "Babe, what is with all of the happy, squeaky, hamster noises?"

"Did you finally grow a chest hair?" Bree grinned.

"No..." He shook his head, pulling on a rope. "I grew two."

Zadie slowly nodded, putting her phone down.

"So," she motioned. "Whatcha doing?"

"A little something I like to call Adam's payback."

"For what?" I asked.

Chase shrugged, "Last Thursday?"

Last Thursday...

"Adam, there is no way you can clear that counter." Leo said.

We stood on the opposite side of the living room.

"I can clear that counter easy."

I nodded, "I've seen him do it."

Chase walked in the front door. "Hey, what are you guys talking about?"

"This."

Adam grabbed Chase and tossed him straight into the kitchen counter.

Chase groaned from the floor.

"Told you," Leo said.

Present Day...

"Oh yeah," Bree smiled. "We all love the bionic brother toss."

"Oh yeah? Well let's see how he likes this."

Chase rigged one more part of the trap he had been working on.

Leo and Adam walked into the lab.

"Trap," Leo announced, stepping over the rope.

"Trap what?"

Adam's foot got caught in the ring of rope that he had stepped through. A second later, he was hanging upside down from the ceiling.

Chase grinned. "Oh, yes! It worked."

Adam swung slightly.

Chase stepped in front of him, "Now let's see how you like being relentlessly manhandled!"

Everyone paused.

"That came out wrong."

"Oh," Adam smiled. "The trap was on the floor."

"Yep, and now we're gonna play a game called human pinata, but instead of candy. We're gonna guess what Adam had for lunch."

"Ironically, I'm guessing candy," I said.

"You're forgetting one thing Chase. I can use my heat vision to break free."

Adam's eyes began to glow red and I quickly realized what was about to happen.

"Adam, wait–"

The rope snapped and Adam dropped to the floor.

He sat up quicker than expected, though.

"Ha! Nice try."

Then he looked at his arm.

It was bent at an angle it definitely wasn't supposed to be.
