Hey so in the car on the way home. (Home now 😂) Sarah's talk was incredible! She made everyone laugh!

She was talking about her grandmother who is her hero because she survived the holocaust. Sarah said she can proudly say she is a daughter of an immigrant and if it wasnt for her then she wouldn't exist and neither would her books.

Sarah started crying when she was telling us her grandmother's story and it was great seeing how down to earth and friendly she is unlike some other famous people.

She appreciates all of us and doesn't see us as her "fans" but rather her friends.

Sarah said that after EoS she had to take a break because it destroyed her emotionally (like all of us) because she is there with her characters every step of the way.

So I didn't win the raffle and get the chance to meet her but I sat in the second row right behind her husband and her friend, and got a nice picture of SJM from where I sat. I purchased the limited edition signed UK copy of ToD.

As we were leaving they were packing up a stall where you could write SJM a letter so I did and told her all about on wattpad and our fan fics. I gave her my profile name incase she decides to look at our little group (finger crossed!) And I wrote down the question about Aelin and Rowan's accents. Hopefully she will answer it or maybe if were really really lucky she'll say hi to us on wattpad or her website or something. (Here's hoping).

I am very glad I got to listen and see her because it just brings more depth to the books and you really get to know her and she's really nice.

So other than not getting to actually meet her, it was a good time :)
