So this isn't ToG or ACOTAR related but I bought a cheap sketch book today and really wanted to sketch (*attempt*) my main character from my story I am writing.
Now, like I've mentioned before I'm no artist and have tried to follow things online. I drew just the head and it looked great then I drew the body and it was ok but I really wanted to colour it in like the next step online was HOWEVER the original pencil smudged - no biggie I can rub it out.
WRONG. So so wrong. I rubbed it out and blew the bits of rubber off except they stuck to the page (I even shook the page) only brushing with my hand did they disappear. But that led to more smudging!
So I rubbed it out in parts and coloured it in a little (I sort of gave up). It was completely ruined - everything was smudged and looked deformed and just not how my character is meant to look.
She has platinum blonde hair (almost white) but I had to use yellow and the smudgeyness made it darker. Her eyes are supposed to be like an icy grey but as you can tell I gave up....

The point of this post is if anyone has any ideas to stop the smudging in the first place please comment..... Thanks!
