Long time, hope everyone enjoyed ACOSF!
I found the deleted Feysand scene online (I will be buying that edition soon!) and I'm glad I did.
I also discovered there is a deleted Azriel scene that is not available in the UK. I read that which was quite enjoyable.
Spoiler warning for those who have not read ACOSF or the Azriel deleted scene. Read on at your own choice....
So Azriel and Elain have a moment, but Rhys interrupts (for good reason from his pov), and at the end he gives Gwyn the necklace Elain returned to him. There's speculation that Gwyn is Azriel's mate, but he also says he feel the cauldron got it wrong with Elain. I'll let you decide what you believe. But it had me thinking about how Elain and her love of gardening would have been better for the Spring Court. Which led to this:
What if Elain was Tamlin's mate? Imagine, Rhys and the gang are on the floor in front of the King of Hybern, Tamlin is trying to get to Feyre and when Elain sprawls onto the floor, Tamlin and not Lucien says "you're my mate". Would Tamlin have left Feyre alone?
The only thing with this scenario is that Elain would be everything Tamlin wants (a quiet wife that he can protect) and therefore Elain wouldn't be given the opportunity to grow as Feyre and Nesta did.
