Also... This is Manon's p.o.v. And she called Rowan Aelin's mate long before Aelin confessed it to everyone. How did I not see this before? Like I knew they had to be mates somehow and when the did it on the beach and didn't realise I was like ok so maybe they aren't mates or will be when they get married. But whilst were still thinking about Elide and Lorcan, and Aelin having to find the Lock it is easily missed.
