I finished ACOTAR last night (it would have been sooner but I was interrupted every half hour).
The start was a bit hard to read and I had to separate Rowan and the cadre from the fae in ACOTAR.
It was a tiny little predictable but the challenges she faced were surprising. I feel like the surprises weren't as strong as ToG but it's a different kind of story. I liked Feyre and to be honest without knowing about Rhysand and their relationship yet to come, I didn't really like Tamlin. If I read it without knowing about Rhys then I would have said her and Lucien were a more likely couple at the beginning until we meet Rhys.
Amarantha was cold but I still hate Maeve so much more 😂
I like how it was Beauty and the Beast, Throne of Glass, Star Wars, and Harry Potter mixed into one book. It was entertaing once I got past the beginning.
Still not my favourite (HoF QoS and EoS are my favourite books) but I did pick up A Court of Mist and Fury :)
This is why I didn't update the oneshots I planned to last night.
