I graduated the other day. I now have a Bachelors Single Honour Degree in Creative and Professional Writing (its so wordy - ha! I didn't even mean to do that :D )
So still going with Assassin's Blade (I really haven't had much time to read lately because when I get time for myself it's usually late at night and I'm so tired that I can just about manage a chapter).
I wrote this down a few days ago and cant find the page numbers but anyways...
(All Rights belong to Sarah J Maas)
When Ansel goes to Lord Berrick's castle (if that's how you spell it cant remember) and takes Celaena with her right before they steal the Asterion horses, Celaena is shopping and wants to buy the emerald slippers and lilac perfume but is stuck because she's low on money, she mentions that the merchant selling the perfume claims to be a descendant of Lani, the Goddess of Dreams. I just wondered if this goddess was important because so far all the other gods and goddesses have been vital to the plot??
Also, to the whole possible is-aelin-pregnant-foreshadowing-theory, whilst it is still being debated between the fandom, can we all just agree on that Aelin wants children? Obviously, she tells Rowan that she wants Terrasen to have heir and won't waste the chance, but when she's shopping in Assassin's Blade, she finds the Spidersilk and meets Lysandra's uncle who says he's going to head South a few days later. Celaena mentions to the reader how she would never sell the spidersilk as it would be an heirloom to pass on to her children. She also says how it might never happen because of circumstances but...she still thought about having children. Whether that's now in KoA or in the distant future, who knows. But I just thought it was nice to mention how she's thought about things like that.
So, some people have asked me for more updates and if you haven't checked out my original fanfiction of ToG that I wrote before the one shots, please go check it out (it's called Saviour of Ashes). I may/may not update the one shots because I am currently working on my own story that I wish to publish in the future. It also depends if I have any ideas but majority of this fandom have covered different routes the series may take and I recommend checking them out too. Again, I may/may not write another fanfiction on KoA, depending on its ending, of course.
Lastly, does anyone remember where I can find the short stories that aren't in Assassin's Blade? I think someone posted them on wattpad but I literally cannot remember.
Let me know what you think on the Goddess of Dreams!
Thanks guys :)(:
