Chloe

She doesn’t know why she felt ambivalently anxious as she walked her way through the lobby of Jesse’s building, the Pike Industries HQ. Maybe it’s because of Jesse’s condition, she thought. But it wasn’t, the aura of the building felt so different and strange at the same time. Her stiletto heels clicking on the marble floor suddenly continued to bother as she continued to take another set of steps before heading to large grey door. Jesse may have some company. She fixed her black blouse that slightly revealed her cleavage, and she felt annoyed because Jesse’s business partners might look at her breasts instead of her face. She tried to fasten the last button that may conceal her boobs, but the precious button was gone. She sighed, and cursed on how large her cup C breasts are. She entered the room without looking at anyone except Jesse who was impatiently waiting for her. “Jesse, your coat please,” she asked.

“What?” Jesse raised his eyebrow while Chloe widened her little eyes at him and held her hand out. Jesse removed his coat and gave it to her, “Get a breast reduction will you?” he whispered, a bit irritated because the coat borrowing occurred at least twice a week.

Chloe quickly wore the coat, then pulled her long black hair from the back then laid it on her shoulder. She faced Jesse’s guest who were staring at her. Her heart stopped for a moment when she met the crystal blue eyes she always loved. Marcus Philip Connor. Marcus Philip Connor. Marcus Philip Connor.

“Mr. Connor, I’d like you to meet my cousin, Chloe Pike,” Jesse stood beside Chloe as Phil walked over them and extended his hand then with his deep voice he spoke, “How are you?”

Chloe’s cheeks began to heat up a bit as she tried to contain the intense emotions building up inside her. “Chloe…” Jesse squeezed her shoulder lightly as he nervously smiled at his guest. Chloe wanted to punch Phil for embarrassing her seven years ago, yet she wanted to kiss those lips that beautifully stretched in a smile. She wanted to say, “I f-cking hate you.” But instead, she took his hand and grasped it gently, feeling his rough palm against her soft one. “I-I-I’m fine,” she silently spoke with a nod.

Chloe freed his hand but he was still holding it, she smiled weakly at him when she felt that he was trying to look at her eyes beneath the thick shade of her sunglasses. She pulled her hand then took a step back but almost fell. Jesse caught her then asked, “Are you okay?”

She nodded quickly then stood on her feet. “I’m sorry for that,” she’s trying her best to avoid looking at him but she couldn’t.

“Let’s have a seat shall we?” Jesse spoke as he sat beside Chloe on the couch in his office and Phil took a seat across Chloe.

She felt uneasy especially in between her legs as she felt the tension rising. Feeling Phil’s presence is putting her in arousal, and his aftershave lingered her nose that cause her muscles to tense up a bit. She took a deep breath, taking Jesse’s coffee cup from Jesse’s hand. “Hey, make your own coffee,” Jesse said.

She silently hissed and that made Jesse speak to Phil. “I’m glad you accepted my invitation, Phil.”

“My pleasure, Jess. It’s nice doing business with you again,” Phil responded and leaned back to his seat to sit comfortably. “So she’s your very special relative.”
