Volunteer Work + School + Injury wooo.

There are times that we get annoyed by our friends if they still choose to love the person who hurt them. There are times that we hate ourselves for loving the wrong person for we are unsure of our decisions. And there are times that we easily forgive someone.

Tauriel : "If this is love I don't want it, take it from me. Why does it hurt so much?"
Thranduil: "Because it was real.”

Thank you guys :3

Chloe

It hurt to see Phil.
It hurt to have the need to hate him knowing that she loved him.
It hurt to face the fact that she loved him.

"I want do die happily Chloe," Jesse said during a phone call while she was away in Canada.

"Jesse, don't lose hope, you are strong. We're strong, right?" Chloe insisted tearfully.

"My dear Chloe, promise me that you will do whatever you can to make our company better, I trust you."

It also hurt to look behind her, spend drunk nights remembering rather than reflecting.
And now, upon knowing that Jesse discontinued his treatments...
She finally knew what she has to do.

Her heart yearned for Phil since the first day she saw him.
She finally saw how sorry he is.
And she finally knew what she has to do.

Forgiveness will set her free from her own demons.
It would lead her to the path, her responsibilities. Her priorities...

"I forgive you," was hard to say. Yet she was taken by the intensity of his words; the feud between her heart and mind rendered her heart victorious. Her love concluded that it is greater than hate. His words were promising, hope within her ignited like a flame; that hope that they will be happy together just like she had dreamed.

Phil leaned to kiss her and it felt like it was the first time. But she realized that they're not the silly college students anymore, rather they were professionals, both working under the great Jesse Pike... And that she was still afraid of loving genuinely and expressing it. I don't want to get hurt again, she thought. "Phil, I can only forgive you," she said, breaking their kiss.

Phil pulled and gazed at her, "What do you mean?" It was evident that he was puzzled.

Chloe took a step back, sighing, "I c-can't love you the way you wanted me to." She wiped her tears and smiled weakly at him, "Jesse needs me."

"We can do this, together," he assuringly said.

"No, I love my job, and I will dedicate myself to it," she held his hand and said, "It feels good that you wanted to do something about it but you don't have to. I forgive you, let's both move on, shall we?"

I need Phil as my assistant, not as a lover. I can't risk the chance of getting hurt again. I don't want to, it's unnecessary. The old Chloe is gone, I am better, and I am letting go of the past that haunted me. No more drunk nights, no more sexual fantasies about Phil, no more romantic ties. Jesse needs me and he trusts me.

Phil frowned, "It is a wrong time, isn't it?"

"Maybe we met again for Jesse, not because we have to continue what was abruptly stopped," she mumbled. She believed in destiny, and that made her think of their encounter to have a closure and do their respective jobs to help Jesse Pike, not to fool around like confused lovers.
Why we never worked.
