i ended up waking up Tyler because he fell asleep; it was okay though, he fell asleep on my chest while we were in the bath, and i would of stayed in longer if the water didn't get cold, but that unfortunately had to happen.

we got out of the bath and wrapped towels around ourselves. i thought it would of been funny, so i took a towel and wrapped it around my head as if i had so much hair. which was what we always pretended to have; lots of hair. Tyler laughed at me as i made jokes about having long hair. but these joked would be real sooner or later, since our air was growing in quicker than we could of ever imagined.

Tyler left the bathroom before me, and walked into our bedroom to clean it and take our clothes out of our bags. i was in the bathroom, combing my fingers through the hair that i had; barely long enough to run my fingers through, but enough to where some of it would go through my fingers. i always loved the idea of someone playing with my hair, though i never admitted it. i wonder if Tyler likes it too, or even if he remembers because it's been so long since he's had long hair. but it's okay too, i'll find out sooner or later.

after finishing up in the bathroom, i walked into the bedroom to my clothes laid out onto the bed, ready for me to put on. i pulled my clothes onto my body, and grabbed a big blanket out from the closet. i went into the living room to see Tyler sitting on the couch, looking out the windows, watching the waves roll up the shore.

"you wanna go now before the sun sets?." Tyler jumped and looked back at me, not noticing i was standing there.

"oh, yes please Joshie. i don't wanna miss the sun go down today," he got up from the couch an over to the kitchen area, "i'm just gonna bring us a few things. some water and some popcorn i have left over from the airport. i know it's nothin' but atleast it's something."

i smile and walk over to him, taking the objects from him so he didn't have to carry anything. i lean down and kiss head, once again feeling the small amounts of hair tickle my lips. we walk down the hall and out the door, Ty locking it as we're on our way out.

as we approach the elevator, Tyler slips his arm around mine, locking our arms together. he looks up at me and smiles.

he is so damn adorable.

i press the elevator button, and to our luck it arrives fairly quickly. we step in and Tyler presses the Level 1 button. seconds later, the elevator takes us to the bottom floor of the hotel. we walk out and through the parking lot, opening the gate that takes you to the beach path.

Tyler walks infront of me and walks down the path, walking up the old worn down wooden stairs that lead up to the wooden walkway. the end of the walkway opens up to the beach, and Tyler's face is nothing short of amazement. i walk up and stand behind Tyler, leaning down an placing a kiss on his cheek.

"everything you been hopin' for bub?"

a smile forms on his face, and he nods his head.

"it's absolutely amazing. i've always wanted to see this, like a real beach," he walked down the stairs and pulled his shoes and socks off, before stepping into the sand, "Josh c'mon, it's so amazing!"

i follow him down the stairs, almost losing my balance due to not taking my shoes off. i placed the blanket on the sand, stretching it out so it's perfect before placing the chips and water on it. i pull off my shoes and put them on the side of the blanket, as well as Tyler's. he's eagerly waiting for me to hurry up, but i obviously wasn't fast enough. he grabbed my hand an dragged me to the water. we were a foot away from it, watching the waves roll in and crash.

"go in the water Ty."

he looks back at me shocked as i said such a thing.

"what!? no, it's probably so cold, and the sun's going down so it'll be colder."

i cross my arms and shake my head, "well, with you follow me if i go further? we don't have to fully go in silly, just like past our ankle or something. you can't tell me you aren't going to go in the ocean after seeing it for the first time.?"

he looked as me hesitantly, as if i was speaking a different language.

"okay Joseph, let's go." i walk towards him as he backs away, knowing exactly what i'm going to do next.

"Joshua, don't you dare even think 'bout it!"

i run towards him and wrap my arms around his waist, throwing him over my shoulder. he pounds his fists in my back and kicks his legs, trying to make me put him down.

"Joshua you put me down right now!," i turned around and walked towards the water. for a second i was hesitant too, it probably is pretty cold. but we gotta go in sooner or later, why not let it be now, "Joshua don't you dare!."

i step into the water, feeling the cool salty ocean water run over my skin. it's very nice to say the least, so i decide to put Tyler down after walking a little bit further into the water.

"oh my god don't put me down!."

"Ty baby you wanted me to put you down, now i am." i laugh as i pry his legs off from around my waist, putting him down in the water. he yelps because of how cold it is, but doesn't complain over it once he's in.

"oh, it isn't so bad. thanks Joshie."

Tyler walks around, kicking the water up and feeling the sand beneath his feet. he runs up to my side an wraps his arms around my waist, hugging me as tight as he could.

"i'll probably say this a million times this trip but thank you for coming with me."

i kiss his forehead and stare out at the sun, feeling it on my skin as well as the salty water on my feet.

"you're very welcome my boy."

we hug for a few before heading back up the beach to our blanket. we sit and watch the sun go down, watching it disappear piece by piece on the horizon. it's so beautiful, something we wouldn't see back home. Ohio is beautiful, but nothing compared to the East Coast.

time has passed and the sun has gone down, and the sky has turned into a deep dark blue, with white stars littering it all over. it's a perfectly clear sky, easy to see the moon and the stars around it.

"look at these stars Tyler," i point up at the sky to different stars, some shining brighter than others," these stars are beautiful, they shine just for you."

he swatted his hand above us, as if i was joking with him. which i am, of course they don't shine for just him; they shine for everybody. but especially him.

"alright, they shine for both of us Ty."

he smiles and closes his eyes, moving closer to me before placing his head on my chest.

"i feel healthy right now Josh."

i place my hand on his back, rubbing circles onto it, "well, we are healthy. just with a little touch of cancer."

he laughs in my chest, i feel smile smiling against me.

"yeah, just a touch of cancer."

"just a touch of it, and alot of you Ty. just how i like it."

exactly how i like it.
