NEWS JUST IN three nobles presumed missing after archenland assassination attempt
After their absence from the public announcement High King Peter had organised yesterday evening, three nobles are suspected to be missing as reports of rumoured Archenland assassination attempts grow frequent by the day.
The three presumed missing are:
Princess Juno Laelia, Princess of Archenland, Royal Sister of King Lune of Archenland
Lady Athena Ashdown, Marchioness of Great River Delta, Knight of the Most Noble Order of the Lion, and Lady of High King Peter
Lord Peridan Rys, Earl of Chippingford, Knight of the Most Noble Order of the Table
The three were out on a morning ride through the village on the other side of the small woods beside Cair Paravel castle. Communications with them were abruptly cut as they entered the woods as they returned to Cair Paravel for the evening announcement and have not been heard of since. Coincidentally, a report from the very same village they were spotted in earlier detailed a sighting of Archen uniform which was reportedly 'blacked out'. King Edmund the Just confirmed an hour ago that this uniform signifies Archen assassins.
Additionally, High King Peter confirmed later on when talking to the press with his brother that the announcement that was planned in the afternoon was, in fact, the announcement of his and the Marchioness of Great River Delta's (Lady Athena's) engagement. The two have set Queen Helen's day - in two months time - as the day of their wedding. Unfortunately, the High King also appeared very distressed in the press conference and was clearly concerned for his fiancee's well-being.
The Cair Paravel Times Team cannot blame him. Lady Athena has been declared missing-in-action and presumed to be dead once before, we cannot imagine what he must be feeling like now it has happened again.
