CROWN PRINCE GEORGE BORN the high king's son to bring a new narnian age? ( written by melodee the dryad, head editor )
Last night, High Queen Athena gave birth after eleven hours of reported labour to the son and heir of High King Peter the Magnificent. The heir apparent to the single Narnian throne once the current four Monarchs pass, the Crown Prince — the name of which was revealed to the press at the announcement of his birth as George Peter Edmund Pevensie — is expected to inherit both his parent's subsidiary titles once he reaches eighteen and comes of age. It is presumed that he will be given the historic honourary title, used for Crown Heirs during the legacy and reign of King Frank and Queen Helen, the Crown Prince of Beruna to set future of his rule officially under the word of Aslan.
It has also been announced that His Imperial Majesty, High King Peter, was not present at the birth due to having left on a hunting trip hours before and has not yet been seen returning to Cair Paravel since. As of yet, all the Narnian Kings and Queens have not met their new relative as they all accompanied King Peter on this hunt, but the Cair Paravel Times team are certain that when they do it shall be a joyous occasion. We have been informed that the High King is due to return home within the next few days, dependant on the distance they have travelled.
Making a new cousin for our current young royals, Prince Arthur and Princess Violetta (nicknamed Tavi — originating from her middle name Octavia — by her family and friends) will be pushed back into 2nd and 3rd in line for the throne respectively. Continuing with the theme of family ties, we are also aware that Queen Juliet, King Edmund's wife, is expecting a child within the next month, meaning that Cair Paravel is soon to be filled with young and new royals in no time at all.
We wish Her Serene Highness the best luck on her recovery and hope that Crown Prince George has a happy and peaceful life ahead of him!
