10.Helping Hand

Constance P.O.V

I stood next to Seth passing out food and I loved how nicely this place looked. Seth let me pick out the colors, and the table cloth and the plate setting. Seth even got his dad to rent out a motel for a bunch of people.

"Thank you so much." A woman about my age said with two kids shaking Seth hand and he smiled giving her a hug.

"Not a problem beautiful." He said giving her a kiss to the cheek.

She came to me next and gave me a smile and I looked at her two kids. One was a boy about 8 and the other was a baby but based on the blue it could be a boy. They both had happy pale faces and it made me smile.

"Do you want me to give you one?" Seth said next to me and I looked at him.

"I can if you want me." He said and I laughed.

"Maybe later we can give it a shot." I said and he laughed.

I looked around at the staff working and this was a nice place, and since it just started I'm going to be here awhile. He wanted it to start at 10:00 am and I wasn't hyped about going home, so we both slept in his office, well we talked all night to be honest. It was almost 1:00 now and I was having the time of my life till I saw my mother.

"Constance." She yelled walking over to me and I tried hard not to frown.

"What is it?" I asked as she stopped in front of me but I looked pass her as I handed others food.

"Can I talk with you?" She asked like she was nervous.

"Hey." Seth said looking at her and she smiled at him.

"Hello Seth how are you?" Seth nodded to her and she looked back at me nodding to the door.

I tapped Seth as I walked out and he just gave me a nod as I walked pass him. I looked at my mother and she was in a uniform.

"What is it Halloween?" I said looking at the flight attended outfit she was wearing.

"No, I got a job as a flight attended." She said very proudly.

"Dad let you work?" I asked her.

"Before we talk about me, tell me what's going on with you and Seth?" She asked and I looked at her.

"I'm in love with Seth, and before I was forced to live with Bryan I was with him. I'm going to be with him, and I don't care if I have to pay Bryan and his family money back. I'm leaving." I said and she nodded to me.

"Well I hope you luck with that and if you need help let me know." She said tapping my shoulder and pulling out keys.

"Hold the fuck up, no what's going on. You have a job? A car? You walked out the house without dad? What's going on?" I asked her and she smiled.

"Well your father wanted to talk to you about this as a family but I'll just tell you. Me and him are getting divorced." She said and I gave her a blank look hiding my shock.

"Why?" I asked her and she smiled.

"Oh how I love that blank face of yours, if you want to know that you have to ask him. I have to get to work." She said with a smile on her face and she looked over to her said and waved before she walked away.

"What happened?" Seth asked smoking a cigarette next to me.

"My parents are getting divorced." I said and he nodded.

"Are you alright?" He asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, shit happens right." I said and he nodded looking at me.

I looked at him a took the cigarette from him and flicked it. He laughed ducking down trying to kiss me but I stopped him.

"No way." I said walking back into the restaurant to finish out the day.

I served food all day, and it felt amazing helping people like this but it made me sad. I wanted to be helping sick people, kids more than anything but I haven't had a damn call or anything. I haven't even got a rejection email or anything and it was frustrating as hell. I didn't notice Seth calling my name till one of the waiters tapped me.

"Constance." He said and I looked at him next to Bryan.

Bryan face had a frown on it and I walked over to him looking at the time, seeing it was almost 5:00.

"Hey Bryan." I said and Seth held in his laugh.

"What happened?" He asked me.

"Time just escaped me." I said making Seth laugh out.

Bryan looked at him and Seth walked to me and I glanced at him but turned to Bryan. He wanted to yell at me but I grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the place.

"Let's go home so we can talk." I said to him and he nodded pulling his hand from me and walking away.

I followed him to the car and I knew what I was going to do but I wanted my stuff from his house. We took the car side in silence and I looked back when I saw something shin in my eyes a little. I turned to the back seat and look to the back of Bryan seat and looked. I looked at the red lace panties with little diamonds on them and smiled.

"So what have you been up to?" I said moving back to my seat.

"Nothing up all night waiting for you." He said angry.

"So who panties are in the back seat?" I asked and he glanced at me nervous.

"Your I'm guessing, or you know what mom had to change her clothes quick so maybe hers." He said and I laughed.

Thank you this gave me a reason to break up with him, but it was hard to choose to make. Should I tell him I leave to be with Seth because me and him planned a whole life together last night. I felt a little less bad doing this since I have a strong feeling he's cheating on me like I'm doing to him.
