One Month Later

I looked at the red light as I headed out for a night with my dad, at a bar that he liked. I didn't care about drinking tonight but I just wanted to see him and talk to him about something. I looked down at my phone ringing and clicked the button in my car for it to answer.

"Where the hell are you knucklehead?" My dad said and I laughed.

"Parking now old man," I said pulling into a spot and stepping out.

"I see." He said walking over to me and I smiled at how he huffed.

"When did I teach you to be a pretty boy?" He said touching my jacket and looking at my hair that was pushed to the side.

"Just because you're ugly doesn't mean I have to be," I said laughing.

"The original playboy you're talking to let's go." He said pulling me into the place that was nicer than I thought.

I was mostly a bar but it still had food and other things, and honestly, the smoking was a nice touch. I didn't smoke much these day but I still lit a cigaret as I waited for my dad to sit down.

"How that beautiful lady of yours?" He asked falling down in his chair and I smiled.

"Not that great I have to say," I replied as I was handed a glass of wine.

"What the hell did you do this time?" He asked grabbing his glass of wine.

"This time it isn't me, its every other man in her life plus she's working too much, she never get a chance to leave the house, and she pregnant," I said and he nodded.

"Will you gentlemen be having anything food tonight?" Our waiter said I shook my head just ordering myself a glass of water.

"Yeah, two Lobsters and two beers for me." My dad said and he nodded walking away.

"So I'm going to guess the guys that are bothering her is her dad and Bryan's dad." He said and I nodded.

"Yeah, I also wanted to ask you for a favor?" I said and he looked at me.

"You want money." He said and I sat back.

"You make it sound like I ask you all the damn time for money," I said making him laugh.

"The only reason I'm going to say yes is for her and my grandbaby." He said and I smiled.

"Well, I need about 83,000 dollars," I said and he spat the wine onto the two bitches next to us.

"You fucking jerk. One yelled as they got up and I couldn't help but laugh.

"That's a lot of fucking money." He said and I nodded.

"I know it is but right now her checks are getting garnished for 1,100 every two weeks and that fucking us both up. We have a child on the way, we are looking for a house and I'm still making payments on a ring I haven't given her yet. The fact her father and Bryan's dad is this fucking petty blows my mind but I don't care. I would rather us pay you back 83,000 then give those two anything." I said and he nodded.

"Seth I'm proud of you right now." He said with a warm smile.

"How?" I asked and he laughed.

"Well, first I'm disappointed in you." He said and I nodded.

"That sounds about right." He said as his Beers came and my glass of water.

"You got with a woman your friend was with, you never had the guts to tell Bryan you loved her. You let her walk away from you for a year, you still didn't tell Bryan you were with her, You let a woman cheat on her boyfriend. I don't care how she felt about him you should have told her no before she could. You got drunk and had some crazy bitch rape you that you let walk away, and you lost her again." He said and the way he made it sound I was kind of a disappointment.

"With all that stupid shit being said, I'm proud of you for always staying with that woman, protecting her, loving her, working your ass off in school, building your own restaurant. With all of that, I'm proud that you became a man that put his family before himself and his pride. I'll give you that money." He said making me almost want to cry.

"I'll pay you back, dad," I said touching his hand and he smiled.

You damn right you will, you are going to be my best man at my wedding, you're going to help me find a house in the city here, and every weekend till I die I want to my grandbaby at my house, deal?" He asked me and I smiled nodding.

"Now, where the hell is my Lobster!" He said overly loud making me laugh.

"Right here sir." The waiter said giving him the two large plates of food and walking away.

"Was one for me?" I asked.

"Hell no, do I look like your damn boyfriend, order your own damn food." He said as I grabbed food from his plate.

"I broke!" I said back to him and he laughed as we both talked.

I missed my dad but then again I always missed him but he is my second best friend. I looked at the time and it was midnight I haven't been out this late in forever and I know why I was getting tired.

"When are you getting married?" I asked and he nodded.

"Next week." He said and I gave him a shocked look.

"What?" I asked.

"We both planned it out and we thought next week would be fine, I mean she didn't want anything big and neither did I. We just want to be married, so we are going to city hall and I'm giving her my last name and she's giving me the rest of her life. I don't think a big cake, and dress are what we want at this point we'll do that at your wedding." He said and i nodded understanding what he meant.

After a little bit of talking my dad called an Uber back to his hotel and I went home. I was tired as fuck on my way home but it was 2:15 by the time I unlocked the door. The house was quite and it was a rainbow colored cake on the table with a note from Constance.

"Aaron had a gay pride party, and he was nice enough to give me and you a slice of his beautiful rainbow cake. If you don't want it please put it up so i can have it later." It read a I grabbed a fork and tasted it and it was good, really good.

I put my cake away and walked into the room seeing Constance half naked sleep. She was just in a bra and shorts, and he big stomach looked so cute. I moved closer to her and sat down pulling the cover over her and she woke up.

"Seth." She said opening her eyes and i smiled.

"Yeah its the one and only." I said and she jerked a little, and gave me a smile and I gave her a confused look.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"The baby kicked." She making me smile.

"Get the fuck out of here." I said pulling the cover off of her.

I just looked at her stomach and so did she as we waited, till I saw her stomach move and I screamed from excitement. I put my hand on her stomach and the little kicking made me jump up and scream and I fell down next to her just watching her stomach, as her finger ran around in my hair.
