Chapter 3

Leafheart gazed into the tribe cats eyes, were they sent by StarClan? "Please follow me, don't speak to any other cats until you meet our leader!" Leafheart demanded. As much as she wanted to trust these cats she couldn't help but be a little suspicious of the new comers.
Foxstar was in his den, preparing for the gathering. "Leafheart! Who are those cats are you being followed?" Foxstar worried, he had a twinge of suspicion and worry for his sister.
"No Foxstar, these are tribe cats they have come for help."
Foxstar was surprised to hear that these cats had come all the way from the tribe. The tribe lives in the mountains, the mountains stand very far from the forest. You could only see the very faint outline of the tip of the mountains.
"I am Snow that falls on the ground and this is Sun that shines bright like gold." Snow said
Leafheart was surprised of how long and complex their names were.
"May we call you Snow and Sun?" Foxstar asked politely. The visitors said they could as they also knew their names were long.
"We are siblings and friends. Our tribe has sent us to seek your help." Sun started. Snow and Sun explained that their tribe healer (their leader and medicine cat!) had recently died. Pool where pearls lay still, had taken the tribe healer role. Fly that buzzes and bites was supposed to do this since the before he died, the tribe healer had said so. But, Pool set up a violent plan to take Fly's life away. He succeeded and announced the news to the tribe. He had said that Fly had fallen down a water fall and plunged to his death himself.
"We believed until Mist found Fly's body covered in wounds, under a rock." Snow explained. She went on to say that once they got Pool to confess, Pool became even more demanding and aggressive then he had been.
"We were assigned secretly by Mist to come down to the forest to find other cat's help to either get rid of Pool or convince to change." Sun told them.
"Our first stop was in um.... Shadowclan, we met two mouse brained cats that told us to scoot. Then we went to I believe it was called Windclan, they were a little nicer and their heal..uh... Medicine cat told us to come here." Snow said. "That must have been Fairtail, she is Windclan medicine cat." Leafheart said. "Oh by the way I am medicine cat too." Leafheart added. She had quickly become sympathetic for these desperate cats. Before any cat could speak, Goldpaw came running towards Leafheart. "Hey!! There is a rogue called Bird here!" Goldpaw yelled. "Quiet down! There is a rogue here?" Leafheart tried to ask calmly, but on the inside she felt confused and even a little afraid. Why were there so many new cats around all at once, even her own apprentice was getting on her nerves. "Let's go see, please stay here Snow and Sun." Foxstar said, he also assigned Mosstail to guard the tribe cats. Who was this Bird? Was she going to harm Thunderclan?
