"That's great Leafheart!" Pool yelled enthusiastically. Leafheart had just given Pool her answer. Obviously, the answer was yes since Pool was so happy. "We'll have a meeting at tonight." Pool planned. "Ok, I'll tell the others." Leafheart said. She felt a wave of anxiety wash over her. What if this is a trap? Oh Starclan, help us now! "Remember! Don't tell Birdwing!" Pool snapped her out of her worries. "Oh yes, of course." Leafheart answered swiftly.
Reunited with Redpelt, Mosstail, Snow and Birdwing, Leafheart reviewed the plan. "Here's the idea. We wait until he is ready to kill the tribe. We wait until the last minute, Birdwing hides then we all surprise attack him."
"Do I attack too?" Birdwing asked.
"Yes you do." Snow responded. Birdwing thought of all of her battle training when she was young, still a rogue living with her mother and her father. She thought of her old friends.
"Birdwing! Did you hear me? I said, are you ok with fighting?" Mosstail snapped. She had become very impatient the last few days.
"Sorry, yes I am. I was just thinking of my old friends, Cloud and Leaf." Birdwing explained.
"You had a friend name Leaf? Cool it's like Leafheart!" Leafheart remarked. Birdwing stared had the lovely grey furred, emerald eyed cat. She wondered if Leafheart considered her as a friend. "Everyone agrees with this plan?" Redpelt assured. Everyone did.Leafheart fell asleep in her den for an after noon nap. She opened her eyes to ThunderClan camp. Braveleap was gazing at her.
"Braveleap! I haven't seen you in my dreams for moons!" Leafheart squealed. She admired her mentor dearly. "Yes, I had to solve some problems instead of visiting dreams. But anyways you must see what your apprentice has done!" Braveleap got right to the point. Did Goldpaw get in trouble? Luckily, the young apprentice was walking around in the medicine cat den. He looked very worried. They followed him to the nursery. "Sun! She had her kits! But wait, Goldpaw delivered the kits? By himself?" Leafheart was very proud. She knew he was the ultimate medicine cat. "Yes, but you must return soon. Goldpaw needs a lot of help and guidance. I will leave you here to talk to him." Braveleap faded away. Leafheart was left in the nursery with the kits, queens and Goldpaw. "Leafheart? You're here?" Goldpaw was stunned. Leafheart realized she was visible to Goldpaw. "Yes, well not really I am still at the tribe. I am here to help, what is the problem?" Leafheart was deeply concerned.
"I am not sure but..... I think Fallkit, one of Sun's kits is blind. Wait! You don't know about me delivering kits!"
"Yes, I got a message from Starclan. Anyways, get back to the blind kit. Let me see her." Leafheart was very stern. She was very eager to find out about the blind kit.
"Here,I'll wake him up to give him some poppyseeds he needs them to help his head." Goldpaw gently awoke the sleepy kit. Leafheart completely confirmed Goldpaw's suspicions. The kit was cross-eyed! Once Fallkit was sound asleep, Leafheart instructed him on how to proceed until she got back. Once she woke up, back in her tribe den, she wondered what trouble Fallkit was going to have. He was already blind, what could possibly happen that was worse then that.
