Pool was yelling. He was a monster. "Get me some moss! No! That's not clean enough! Come on mouse-brains!" He yelled. Leafheart was so mad. No cat should be treated that way. She almost leaped out of he hiding place. "Let's go defeat him!" Birdwing whispered excitedly. "No, he'll kill us if we do it now. We must get on his good side then surprise attack him."Snow explained quietly. "Lets head to the entrance, then come out from there. It wouldn't look like we hid." Mosstail said. Redpelt nodded. All of the clan cats plus Snow headed for the entrance. "That's Mist! She looks so thin!" Snow exclaimed. A skinny cat stood near the entrance, she had a shaggy grey pelt and her paws looked shaky, that was Mist.

As they walked back, through the entrance this time, Pool glared at Snow. "Where have you been? We need more prey hunters!" Leafheart guessed that Snow was a prey hunter. His sister Sun was a cave guard. Were there other tasks then those too? "I am sorry my master, but I have brought help, they can be prey hunters too. Leafheart blushed at thus remark, she guessed Snow was saying they were good at hunting. Being a medicine cat, most cats assumed Leafheart couldn't hunt. But, in her apprentice days, her mentor, Braveleap, let her train with her sister Mosstail sometimes. This gave her her hunting skills, good ones since Mosstail's mentor was Crosstail (before his tail was injured) one of the best ThunderClan hunters.
"You don't tell me what to do!" Pool retorted.
"They do look like good prey hunters though. Very well you can all hunt, but don't think your better then me!" He hissed angrily.

How could a cat be so rude? How could a leader/healer be so rude? Leafheart wondered as she followed Snow. They were on there way to hunt all together. Leafheart learned how to catch a hawk that day Snow taught them how eye brought home two Hawks. Pool was very pleased.

Pool took Leafheart aside that night. "Would you mind always leading a hunting patrol? You're swell at hunting. " Pool said smoothly. Leafheart shivered, in his eyes was not only sweetness but also a bit of affection! Was Pool falling in love?
