Leafheart knew what she had to do. She bit Pool's neck with all of her might. His breathing started to get heavy. He slumped down. Pool was defeated! "We are done!" Snow was overjoyed. Mist nudged her son proudly. "But at a cost, Redpelt and Birdwing are.... are dead." Leafheart sobbed. Mosstail buried her face into her siblings fur and started sobbing with her. "Guys, I'm here!" A weak voice said. It couldn't be! Leafheart gasped in surprised. Birdwing! "How?"
"I have a secret. I have nine lives!" She announced.
"But your not leader?" Mosstail was doubtful.
"Starclan said I received nine lives to save others. So, I save Leafheart!" Birdwing explained.
Leafheart thanked her friend.
"I wish Redpelt would revive!" Mosstail hoped, but nothing happened.
"Redpelt is with Starclan, a good place." Birdwing was very sympathetic.
"I get it!" Leafheart cried. "The prophecy said when red and white fly! Pool has white fur and you have red fur." She motioned towards Birdwing, the red pelted cat. "I thought it would be Redpelt." Snow put in. "You saved us Birdwing! You saved our clans and the tribe!" Mosstail said gratefully. Birdwing beamed. "Whoah! Was that part of the plan?" Star asked.
"Nope. Birdwing made it up!" Snow answered. Birdwing felt like a hero. A hero that just successfully finished a mission.
