Leafheart's claws flexed. It was dusk. She sat in the position Pool had directed her to. They were sitting under large leaved trees near the waterfall. Leaves fell on Leafheart's nose. Tribe will lose rule until leaves fall and red and white fly. Leaves fall! Leafheart knew immediately this was the right plan for the situation, Starclan said it them self! Finally she spotted a glimpse of the cats Pool had set to fish near the rushing waterfall. Redpelt had suggested Bright, Mist, Stone Green and Star, the same cats who knew of the plan. "Now!" Pool yelled. "Now!" Redpelt imitated. These were the signals for attack for all cats. Pool was very confused at first, but when his own team attacked him, he got the message.
The cat's teeth pierced and their claws were out. Hissing was heard at the tribe cave. Apparently, Blood of dying prey and Herbs of riverside, Pool's supporters had heard the commotion. "We've come to help Pool!" They yelled cohesively. It was a fierce fight. "What a little know it all!" Herbs accused. His point direct to Mosstail. Mosstail glared at him and screeched. She scratched him on the nose and kept bitting him. Snow joined her. Redpelt and Mist pounced on to Blood.
Leafheart stared Pool in the eyes. They were filled with anger. "How could you?" Pool whined. Before she could answer, Pool attacked her and the others. "Traitors!" He kept yelling. After a lot of battling, Herbs and Blood lay still, lifeless. Pool was the only one left. All of the other cats had life in them. Star wondered when Birdwing was going to join them.
They kept fighting. Dawn was approaching and the jumping and clawing hadn't finished.

Pool who was struggling to avoid and attack at the same time, knew he had to act fast. He targeted Redpelt. He swiped him in the face and kicked his neck. Pool's white fur was splattered with red. He just killed Redpelt! Leafheart was heart broken for her sister who was staring longingly at her motionless mate. There was no time to grieve though. Leafheart fought even harder for Redpelt. "We will stop you no matter what!" She cried raging. Pool had another good idea. He jumped to bite Leafheart when a red ball of fur flew out of no where. This red glimpse was Birdwing leaped in between Pool and Leafheart. Instead of bitting Leafheart he bit Birdwing! "Birdwing no!" Leafheart cried at her dear friend.
