Leafheart sat in her nest unable to fall asleep. Her instincts were telling her to go and find Goldpatch. But other duties awaited her. She couldn't leave Lionpaw alone. He was only an apprentice. She had to wait until the prophecy was done and over with. After those things were dealt with she promised herself that she would go.

The next morning, Foxstar came up to her. She wondered why. Was he alright?

"Look, Pounceclaw is a great cat and all. Though, his aggressiveness is unacceptable. He can not mentor Plantpaw anymore. Don't you think so?" Foxstar asked. Leafheart nodded. She was glad that her brother thought the same way.

"Then who will be his next mentor? And what will become of a Pounceclaw?" She questioned. Foxstar sighed. He didn't want to deal with discipline.

"Smileleaf! He would be fit for the role. He is very sympathetic and will teach Plantpaw how to have a better attitude. Ras for Pounceclaw, he will be confined to camp for three sunrises and will no longer have an apprentice since he failed this one. " Foxstar seemed satisfied and called a meeting at high rock.

"It has come to my attention that some unnecessary trouble has been going on. " the leader announced. All of the apprentices glanced at each other suspiciously. Leafheart chuckled.

Always up to mischief those ones!

"Plantpaw and Pounclaw please come here. "

Both cats hung their heads knowing they were the culprits. What a shame!

"Plantpaw your new mentor will be Smileleaf. And..."

"What? I don't want to be with that fox-heart! I demand I stay with Pounceclaw. " Plantpaw yelled.

"I second that! You have no right to take away my apprentice!" Pounceclaw added. The entire crowd was in an uproar, shocked that the two cats had contradicted the leader.

Leafheart sighed and stepped beside high rock.

"You had promised to uphold the warrior code Plantpaw, being hostile to your own clanmates and trying to harm innocent cats is not part of that. Pounceclaw, he has all of the right to take away your apprentice. The leader is supposed to do what's best for the clan, this is a wise decision, I even consented to it. So let him carry on!" Leafheart explained.

"You will now be known as Fallshadow and Cinderfur!" The clan chanted the new warriors' names. Lionpaw smiled and congratulated his siblings.

"Lionpaw! I can't wait for you to get your name!" Cinderfur smirked at her brother.

"Until then, you guys can get the name attention!" He joked. Fallshadow didn't here the rest of there conversation. He was too busy thinking about his jealous brother, Plantpaw, Fallshadow heard him whispering to Pounceclaw. His warrior ceremony was delayed by a lot because of his mischievous and violent acts. One of them was telling Mistkit, one of Mosstail's dear kits, to check out Thunderpath with him. He brought her to the dangerous path then left her alone. The poor kit was confused and tried to cross the Thunderpath but a roaring monster hit her. Her poor mother was angry and had built a strong hate for Plantpaw. She had been miserable ever since, though Stumppaw and Redpaw had comforted her.

Fallshadow followed his brother's scent trail until reaching him. Hoping he hadn't been spotted, reeled around for something to hide in or behind. Her landed in a pile of bushes. He luckily had done this quietly and no cat seemed to notice.
