Chapter 4

"Get your paws off me!" Hissed Bird. Healfur and Foxstar had carried Bird, the rogue, to the medicine cat den. Leafheart suggested this as their questioning place so they would not disturb any cat, since she had no injured cats in her den.

Once in the medicine cat den, Foxstar started to ask questions. "Why are you here?" Foxstar asked. Bird replied "I got kicked off of my territory by Shiara!" Leafheart spoke softly but confidently "But rogues do not have territory, they hunt or live wherever!" Bird explained that she had lost a battle with Shiara, another rogue. Because she lost, Bird got pushed near the two legs. "If I would go back, Shiara said she would rip my fur off. Knowing her she wasn't exaggerating. So I decided to join a Clan." Bird finished. Foxstar looked some what stunned, he finally spoke "Why did you choose ThunderClan?" Bird answered immediately "My mother was born in ThunderClan, her name was Dustclaw. She ran away of course, right after her warrior ceremony. I would appreciate if you could take me in" Bird seemed fairly friendly.

After a few moments, Foxstar accepted Bird into the clan. He said Bird had to become an apprentice first though. So Bird was now Birdpaw. "If you are able to learn the warrior code quickly, develop good fighting skills and learn to hunt in our forest. You can become a warrior in one moon." Foxstar said. Birdpaw was eager to star her training, even though older than the other apprentice, she had the same spirit as a new apprentice. Birdpaw was fierce and was very brave, she was a very good addition to ThunderClan, so were Sun and Snow. Foxstar let them stay aswell.

Foxstar, finally made it to the gathering. This went very smoothly. The clan had to get used to all the new cats, although some cats had a hard time with this.
