"Are you sure?" Healfur asked. "Yes, it's Starclan they do not lie." Leafheart replied confidently. She had just delivered the good news to Healfur. "I told you! But who is Sun's mate?" Foxstar questioned. "Mistface said she could not tell me who but said Sun had a good reason to keep it from us." Leafheart said, now disappointed.
Later that day, Sun came to Leafheart's den. "I have something to tell you." Sun said. Leafheart wondered what this could be. She did not have Sun's mate in her mind anymore. Before Sun could continue, Goldpaw came running in with a worried gaze in his eyes.
"RiverClan has not catmint and their elders have greencough!" He yelled.
Greencough is a sickness cats get that can be deadly if not treated. They need catmint to treat it. "I'm coming Goldpaw, in the meantime please go find cat mint to bring to RiverClan. " Leafheart instructed calmly she turned to Sun. "I'm sorry Sun but this is urgent, unless this is urgent I can not speak until this problem is resolved"
Sun looked disappointed but relieved "It's ok, it can wait."
On the way to to the RiverClan border, Leafheart met up with Goldpaw. "Are we going?" He asked hopefully.
"Yes Goldpaw, we are going."
Once they arrived to RiverClan camp, all cats were staring at them. Leafheart and Goldpaw ran to the medicine cat den.
"We've come to help!" Leafheart said to Greenpelt. Greenpelt looked very worried. "Thank goodness you came, do you by any chance have cat mint?" Greenpelt asked. "Yep, right here! I'm medicine cat apprentice now!" Said Goldpaw proudly. "Nice job! Then you can meet my apprentice Treepaw." Greenpelt congratulated. They got to work right after that.
Once the elders were well, Leafheart and Goldpaw returned to camp. Goldpaw went to fetch some herbs while Leafheart returned to her den. Sun was waiting for her. "Ok, what is the matter, Sun?" Leafheart asked.
"Well, I lied yesterday, about Foxstar being my mate." Sun said looking at her paws in embarrassment.
"Who is your mate then?" Leafheart pushed.
"My mate is....." Sun started hesitantly
"......Pool where pearls lay still"
