Chapter 2

Goldpatch padded down the path towards the Moonpool. If only I could stop Shiara. He looked ahead and saw two slim shadows.
"Treefall! Where's Greenpelt?" Goldpatch was worried. Greenpelt had not been doing very well lately. She was the oldest of the medicine cats.
"She's with Starclan now...." Treefall stared at his paws sadly. Rosepaw stood beside him.
"Fairtail didn't come because our elder, Howlmouth has a sprained leg. " It was rare apprentices came alone, but Rosepaw was very close to being ready to get her name.
"Leafheart needed to stay for an important meeting." He didn't want to tell the cats about Shiara yet.
"Where are Ticklepaw and Feathercloud?" Treefall questioned. His face was suspicious as he scanned the area. Why are RiverClan cats always worried? Goldpatch always seemed to notice RiverClan kept security levels high on their territory.
"Well, we've got to go, they'll catch up, but I'm guessing they probably won't come." Rosepaw concluded. The three apprentices headed straight to the Moonpool.

Goldpatch payed beside the glowing pool of water, he closed his eyes. Once he opened them, he saw Mistface and Flamestar, both of them looked anxious.
"Hello?" Goldpatch's voice boomed.
"Goldpatch, there is only one way to stop this...." Flamestar started. His pelt looked even brighter then before.
"Stop what?"
"Shiara." Mistface answered.
"What must we do?" Goldpatch was eager to save his clan. Before either spirits could speak, they changed settings. He was now in front of a patch of sparkly teal looking grass.
"This will hypnotize her...." Mistface disappeared and so did Flamstar. Where am I? ThunderClan? No.... Shadowclan!
His vision whirled and he was once again in front of the Moonpool. He was satisfied with his find. He was going to save the clan!
Wait, I can't possibly go into Shadowclan territory. If a cat sees me, they'll ask me what I'm doing. I couldn't tell them about. They'll think I'm mouse-brained. I also can't steal herbs. There must another way! There has to be!
