~ I'm Home Now ~

Albert's POV:

It's currently been a year without Jake.

A whole. Year.

I frantically tap my foot against the floor as I quickly gulp down my coffee, my eyes glued to the screen.

"M-Mom??" Samuel whispered quietly as he walked in, looking concerned. I raise an eyebrow at him curiously.

"I miss da-dad." Samuel stutters, his eyes beginning to water. I sigh as I pat the spot next to me on the bed. "C'mere bud, I gotta Tell ya something real quick" I said, softly smiling, "it's good news!"

Samuel quickly trotted towards the bed, taking a quick seat next to me. "Yeah??"

"Jake... he's coming home today!" I squeal, hugging Samuel ever so tightly. He also squealed as well, hugging back. "When when when??" He rapidly said. "I don't know the specific time, but it will be soon." I say with a soft smile.

"He finally got his papers" I sigh softly, giving a quick look at the door. "Go ahead and change, you gotta look decent today" I tell Samuel, giggling softly. He happily trotted upstairs, going into his room. I grabbed my mug and set it down in the sink, washing it quickly.

I heard a car pull up on our driveway.

"S-Samuel! I think He's here!!" I stuttered, all of a sudden becoming so jumpy. Samuel soon came coming down with a plain white shirt and some khakis. I grabbed Samuels hand and brought him to the window. We both were peeking out like a bunch of weirdos.

I finally saw Jake step out of the car.

I felt weak in the knees, but I didn't care. I didn't even wait for him to ring the fucking doorbell.

"JAKE!!" I screamed as I ran out of the door like a maniac, immediately pouncing on him, which sent him falling on the ground. "Jake Jake Jake Jake" I chanted quietly as I quietly started sobbing against the crook of his neck. I sobbed even louder when he started gently stroking my hair.

"Albert" He whispered softly, bringing me closer to him. "I missed you so much" he gently said. I held on even tighter, not wanting to let go.

"I don't wanna get off" I whispered idiotically, clutching his shirt.

He giggled quietly, getting up shakily and holding me against him. I was still clutching his shirt as I heard Samuel scream of joy. I quickly got off before Samuel ran like a bull towards Jake, hugging his leg tightly. I ran back to them and hugged them both tightly.

"I missed you dad!" Samuel whined while looking up at him.

"It's okay kiddo," He said, "I'm home now".

Yeah this was pretty short. I had to do this a little quickly because my friend is begging to do a Tamalis Short ( basically my friend Pokerface x Her Senpai ) and the ship name for it is Tamalis.

Tamalis is fucking adorable.
