~ The Sickness ~

Jake's POV:

Boop! Boop! Boop!

I groaned as I turned around to turn off my alarm. I rubbed my eyes and used all the energy I had to bring myself to sit up.

That took a LOT of energy.

Imagine how much I need to WALK?

I threw my blanket carelessly on the ground and walked to the bathroom with my eyes closed, occasionally bumping into some things. I slowly opened my eyes to be faced by such monstrosity being reflected on the mirror. I chuckle to myself as I splash some water on my face, trying to wake myself up.

I grab my blue toothbrush and mindlessly brushed my teeth while my thoughts started to wander somewhere else.

I'm guessing I spent a couple minutes brushing my teeth before throwing on my blue signature sweater and some khakis.

"Albert!" I groaned as I stumbled next to his bed. There he was, cuddled up like a burrito in his blanket, as usual.

"Cmon, wake up" I grunted as I pulled the blanket off of him. I saw him shiver slightly and bite his lip. "You okay??" I ask him while crouching down so we could make eye contact.

He slowly opened his eyes and shrugged. He looked a little pale.

I slowly touched his forehead which was a bit warm. "Are you cold?" I whispered while cracking my knuckles. He nodded weakly while curling up in a little ball. He sniffed softly while he pulled the blanket over himself.

Aw.

"I'll stay here today to take care of you" I whispered while getting up. He opened his eyes and shook his head. "No" he said in a groggy voice, "don't stay here for me, I'm fine". He coughed a little and cleared his throat.

I raised an eyebrow at him while placing my hand on my hip. "And you expect me to go to college and leave you here all bundled up sick on your bed?" I said while chuckling. "Fine" He whispered.

I smiled softly as I sauntered towards the kitchen to fetch some antibiotics. I grab some water and walk over to him. "Here" I whispered while handing it to him. He slowly sat up and took the pills.

"Ah, I have a major headache." He groaned while holding his head in pain. I frowned while grabbing some pillows and putting them behind his head. "Are you hungry?" I ask.

He shook his head while pulling the blanket up.

~ Third Person Perspective ~

The older male stood there in silence while clenching and unclenching his hands. He had no idea what to do next.

It was almost as if the smaller male was his other half.

Albert slowly peeked out of the blanket to look at Jake. He smiled softly as he approached next to him.

"C'mere" The brunette whispered while pulling the taller one next to him on the bed. Jake gently got under the sheets and gladly embraced Albert.

Albert snaked his hands around Jake's waist and pulled him closer, breathing in his warm and fuzzy scent. He smiled against his chest and laughed quietly. The taller one chuckled and softly stroked the tangled mess of the other's hair.

"How long do you want me to stay here?" Jake whispered while kissing the top of Albert's head.

"All day" he said while gently clutching Jake's shirt as if he was gonna go. They both chuckled quietly and grabbed onto each other more tightly.

Hopefully Jake doesn't get sick though.
