Chapter 6
I finally get in the safety of my warm bed and think over my amazing eventful day, I auditioned for The X factor, Jai came back and my brother said something nice to me. Not only is Jai back. But so is Jack. That was interesting.
My mum let Jai stay the night and I offered to sleep on the mattress on my bedroom floor. But he insisted I stayed in my bed.
"Goodnight." I whisper.
"Goodnight." He says.

I groan as I wake up to my mother calling my name and get up. Jai wasn't in his bed, and wasn't downstairs. So, I text him, asking him where he was.
'Sorry. Had to go into the studio today. Got a call at like 5:00 in the morning and I didn't want to wake you, but your mum was awake so I told her. - Jai' He texts back in less than ten seconds. Aww. He's so cute.
'Oh. Okay then. Have fun and you could have woken me. I wouldn't have cared. :)' I text and we talk for a while. But Jai has to return into the studio. I quickly have breakfast and afterwards I head over to Amelia's place. She is another one of my best friends. She has curly blonde hair and she always has it in a messy bun.
"Hey, I can't believe you're dating Jai Waetford!" She says, fangirling. All of my friends are Waetforder's. It's annoying, because all they talk about is Jai, Jai and more Jai. Especially around me.
"Amelia! I have been dating him for like almost a year. Oh my gosh, A year next month! It's been so long. Even though we did break up for like a few months. It's still a year to me." I say.
"Are you doing anything special?" She asks as we sit on her bed.
"Probably not." I say and she pouts.
"What?" I ask.
"Come on! You have to do something. It's your first anniversary!" She says and lightly hits me on the shoulder.
"Ouch." I say and rub my arm.
"Seriously? That wasn't hard at all. But seriously. At least go to a movie or something!" She says.
"I might. But no promises. I have no money and management won't let Jai spend more than $5 each month." I say.
"What about your mum?" She asks.
"No way, she wouldn't pay for Jai and I to see a movie... Date style!" I say and she puts her thinking face on.
"Well, I can't help you there." She says.
"Wow. So much help." I mumble. At least she was honest. She has never helped me sort out a problem. She isn't and never has been a good thinker.
"You're so lucky." She says, finally breaking the silence.
"No, I'm not!" I disagree.
"Why? You have an amazing, super cute famous boyfriend, who is Jai Ethan Waetford! Your damn brother is Jack Vidgen, you have your own home recording system, you are rich, you have an amazing house, amazing voice, you have WON every competition you have entered, you are super popular, you are ALSO drop dead gorgeous and did I mention YOU ARE DATING JAI WAETFORD?!" She almost yells at me. I laugh at her sudden outburst of 'Celia you are so lucky!' and she scowls at me.
"Stop laughing at me! I'm allowed to be jealous." She says.
"I'm not popular." I say, seriously. But really, I'm not popular.
"Yes, you are! You have almost 400 thousand girls wanting to be you and you have over twenty friends! In my dictionary that is far beyond popular." She says.
"Do you even have a dictionary?" I ask.
"No, but I have google!" She says.
"So, you actually physically looked up popular on google?" I ask.
"Shut up."
"I'm not drop dead gorgeous either." I say and lower my head. She's gunna hate me for this.
"Yes, you are! Geez Celia! Would you have an amazing life if you were ugly and totally untalented?.. No! So, stop complaining and just love yourself!" She says to me and hugs me.
"I'm sorry."

Later that day, I go home. Amelia wouldn't stop complaining about how popular I was and how 'beautiful' I was. I wish she would shut up sometimes.
Nothing could be worse.
I lay on my bed and wait for Jai to text me. He had been so busy lately and I have spent hardly anytime with him. I miss the old times so much. Maybe when he finishes his next album he'll get a little bit time off to spend some quality time with friends and family... I hope so.
