Okay. Once again. I have a really bad writers block. Sorry if it's short. I'll get better.

Chapter 4

Celia's POV

I wake up in the morning, to find out that I am auditioning for The X Factor next month.

Yay.

Not really. Now that it is a reality, and in the near future. I am scared as hell. I am scared as hell like a little..... bird. Or something. I know that made no sense. But really. I felt like a bird.... a baby bird. I was going to be on a big stage in front of a lot of people, this was scary.

Like really scary.

What if I failed?

What if I fell over when I was walking onto stage?

What if everyone hated me?

I've really got to start thinking more positive.

I walk down stairs, have breakfast, then go to school. I walk past Jai's house and he isn't there. I wait for a moment. But check the time and realise I am going to be late, if I don't start walking now. I get in the school grounds and can't find Jai anywhere. Is he sick? Geez, I hope not.

The bell rings and I head to roll call group. Without Jai it was plain boring and terribly quite. He would either be chattering away or the teacher and students would beg him to pick up the damn guitar in the corner and play it. Well, he couldn't resist, of course.

That god damn guitar has to go, he says like almost everyday. Oh, Jai.

'Where are you?' I text to my non-existent boyfriend.

'I'm sorry. I'm sick. I have a sore throat. My mother insisted I stayed home. Whatever.' I say and giggle at his attitude. I hear footsteps behind me, then giggles.

"Hey, Pigeon. Where's your famous boyfriend?" Natalie says, the schools biggest bully. Oh, and I happened to be number 1 on her hit list. Well, only when Jai's not here, because she loves Jai.

"It's not your business." I say and turn around.

"See ya, Pigeon." She says as I continue to walk to math's and we just happen to have an Indian teacher that does not stop yelling because we cannot understand his thick accent. Hooray. Oh, no.

I cracked a few bad jokes to the girl beside me and the bell finally rings. The day went awfully slow and I was finally able to walk home. At that moment, all I could think of was Jai. I wonder if his mother will let me see him. I get home and immediately call Jai.

"Hello." He picks up. He sounded lethargic and tired.

"Hey. It's Celia. Can I come over?" I ask.

"You would be allowed. But I don't want to make you sick." He says and I pout. He's so cute; he doesn't want to make me sick. Of course, every boyfriend would be like that. Even though Henry actually didn't care.

"Okay. I won't come over then. See you soon." I say and he says 'sorry' and then 'bye'. Well, this whole day sucked.

The next day, He wasn't there.

The next week, he wasn't there. No phone calls or anything. I grew worried and decided to walk to his place after school on Friday. His mother answers with a sweet smile.

"Hey, dear." She says.

"Hi. Um..." Well this is awkward. "Is Jai here?" I ask.

"No. He's gone to his cousins house for a couple of weeks. He'll be back next Thursday." She says. Wow. That was lucky. A day before my audition. Happiness floods through me. At least he's alright and at least he'll be at my audition.

"Oh. Okay. Thank you, Alana. Bye." I say.

"Bye." She says and I walk back to my house.

****

Hey guys. Quick update! Sorry, it's short-ish. I've been sick the last week or so and I haven't been really... I guess... up to writing. I'm feeling a little better, despite the fact hat I am coughing non-stop at the moment. I. Can't. Breathe. Ouch.

Anyways, please vote/comment/share!

Celia is feeling very sarcastic today.
