Chapter 9

In the morning I wake up and go straight to Celia's house. I ring the door bell and after about a minute Jack answers.

"Is Celia here?" I ask.

"She left about ten minutes ago." He says. This was the last straw. I was never going to see her smiling face again. He was still standing in the doorway when I left and went to the park, to the exact place where we had met in person for the first time. I lay there for what seemed like forever. Until I decided to go home. Tomorrow was the start of the holidays. Why did it start on a Thursday? I always thought that was weird.

3 weeks pass and I haven't heard anything from Celia. I lost contact with her brother, she had changed her phone number and she stopped using all her social media. I lay on my bed and a tear rolls down my cheek. I haven't had emotion for 3 weeks. Only a fake smile to hide the pain. It was only a matter of time before I had to go to the studio and record. I had a lot of inspiration from Celia and I wrote 18 songs!

The next day was school again. Yes, the holidays had gone so quickly. They had gone quickly because I had pretty much done nothing, but write. Outside it was raining. Typical winter. My mother had a cold again and I had to keep walking to the shops and buying her medicine. I didn't mind. At least it got me out of the house. I mean, I still surf and skate sometimes, but not a lot. I haven't surfed a lot since I started on The X Factor. I was always too busy.

All of a sudden I hear a knock at the door and I hear mum run down the stairs and to the door. Voices. More foot steps and another knock at my door.

"Jack is here." Mum says and I put my guitar on the holder and hurriedly walk down stairs to find a sad-looking Jack.

"Hi." I say and he looks up at me.

"Hey. I understand that your still upset about Celia, but my old friend that is your age has come to Sydney and I was wondering if you could show her around at school?" He asks and I just stand there stunned. What?

"Uh.... sure. What's her name?" I ask.

"Bailey." She says and walks up to me. She holds her hand out for me to shake and I do.

"She's actually not my old friend. She's Celia's twin sister." He says. Oh, yay. Now, I'm going to have to be friends with Celia's twin sister. Cause that's always fun.

"Who are you?" She asks in a British accent.

"I'm Celia's ex-boyfriend. Jai Waetford." I say and she nods.

"Oh. You're like that really good singer aren't you?" She asks and I slowly nod.

"Jack has told me a lot about you!" She says. After a while I talk to Bailey and get to know her and then she gets a call from someone and runs to her room.

"What do you think of her?" Jack asks.

"Celia has a twin sister? Yeah, thanks for telling me!"

"Sorry..." He says and lowers his head.

"Celia didn't tell you because she doesn't know Bailey exists. But bailey knows Celia exists..." He says.

Hey everyone! I don't know what this chapter was. It was mainly a filler chapter but... it's gunna get better!

plot twist!!!... I don't know why it just is!

Her names Bailey, right? Oh my gosh. I really suck at names, even like her name. I mean... I'm so stupid. I just wanted to check if that was her name... i don't know why... I worry too easily.... erk..

Oh wow. Jack that was sudden.... no not really.
