The next morning Alana went shopping so Jai and I didn't stay at his place. We went to the place we met, the park. The memories we shared there were precious and I wouldn't exchange them for anything.

"Are you going to keep up with the singing career?" He asks and I shrug.

"I don't know. I want to, but I don't want to have to leave again." I say and he looks at me in the eyes.

"You don't have to. I won't let people do that to you... Again." He says and I smile.

"You're too sweet Jai." I say and he grins.

"Well, sprinkle sour flavouring on me and I might be better." He says, jokingly and I laugh.

"Oh god." I say and he chuckles. We are walking in silence for a while before Jai speaks again.

"It's times like these that I miss." He says and looks at me.

"Me too." I say, honestly. "What happened to Bailey?" I ask.

"She dumped me because Jack told her to stay at the door and tell us if your parents came home and I backed Jack up." He says and I frown.

"I'm sorry." I say.

"It's not your fault. She didn't really like me anyway." He says.

"I don't like her." I say as we sit down on the hill in front of the beach and stare out to the ocean.

"I know." He finally says. Today is all about confessions. I don't understand it. Jai is being so truthful. It's.... different. After a couple of hours we went back to Jai's place and watched tv.

"No matter how much we want things to be the same, they never will be." I say and he looks at me in the eyes.

"I know, but let's pretend that for a moment they are." He say and I nod. He hugs me and Jai's mum comes through the door.

"Oh . Hey, Celia." She says and I wave.

" I should be getting home." I say.

"Bye." Alana says as I walk through the door and Jai follows me.

"Bye." I say and Jai closes the door behind him.

"Do you want me to walk you home?" He asks.

"No. I'll be fine." I say, I kiss him on the cheek and walk down the stairs.

"Bye." He says and I walk out of his front gate, then I wave.

I sit in my room and scroll through my timeline of twitter. I got bored and decided to put some music on, lay on my bed and sing. Tomorrow I was to start dance class again. I hadn't danced in a year, but hopefully it was like riding a bike, you never forgot and never got worse.
