She's probably sleeping.

She always goes to bed early.

I drift off to sleep hoping for a response in the morning.

I wake up.

I finally get a response from Chloe.

Her and her parents come over later in the day.

They don't know we're dating yet.

I answer the door.

I greet her parents.

My mom looked at us in shook.

"That's a little too friendly." She said.

"Especially since Chlo has a boyfriend." Her mom said.

"It's okay cause I'm her boyfriend." I said.

"What?!" They asked in shook.

"I mean we were waiting for it. But still, what?!" My mom asked in shook.

"I found out Jay was cheating on me and as I told Drew that he was cheating on me, I realized I needed someone like Drew. I needed him." She smiled skipping out that we slept together.

"Only took you guys thirteen years." Her dad said.
